Jean dedicated his whole life to giving babies and children
the knowledge to survive if ever they were to fall into the water alone since 1967.

It has also been created in loving memory of Karen Lester my little sister who drowned in an overcrowded murky pool in Bournemouth in 1973
I was 12 when I lost my little sister who drowned at the age of 6 years old,
I saw her being pulled out of the pool which was something I will never forget she was too young to be taken from us, when I grew up and had children of my own, the first thing I wanted them to do was to learn to swim and to be as safe as possible around water. I lived in Valais in Switzerland at the time and had heard of Bebes Amphibies - Jean Fouace Swim Method for babies and young children, so I signed up for the course with my son Mika and then with my daughter Sydney. Of course Jean had to teach me to swim correctly as I couldn’t swim very well, he then trained me to pass my life saving test. Once this done Jean trained me to be a teacher, I worked very closely with him for many years,
He often used to say to me I was one of the best teachers he had ever trained probably because I deeply wanted to help stop children
from drowning Jean wanted me to go to the UK to train teachers and open up Bebes Amphibies centres
I finally started in the UK in 2013 after teaching in Switzerland for over 25 years
Sadly Jean was fighting a battle with Lung Cancer and told me he didn't think he was going to win,
he asked me and Karen to take over “Les Bebes Amphibies” with Exclusive rights over his method worldwide
as he knew he could trust us to not change his method and carry on with his “Mission to STOP Children from Drowning”. His mission became ours and has now become “Les Bebes Amphibies International”
which we have Trademarked and Copyrighted Worldwide since 2014 just as Jean Fouace asked us to. Owners and Directors
