Congratulations Year 13!!🎉🎉

What an incredible morning welcoming our first-ever Year 13 cohort to receive their A-Level Results and secure their university places.

We are so pleased to see so many of our students excited to start university in September. From courses in Maths and Astrophysics to Product Design and Psychology, our students are ready for their next challenge and are excited for university life. We can't wait to hear all about their next chapter.

Many other students will be beginning apprenticeships or employment soon and can't wait to get stuck in.

We wish all of our students the best of luck in their next endeavours and a huge congratulations on all they have achieved over the last two years.

The Light Hall Sixth Form Team

Light Hall Sixth Form is now closed for the Summer Holidays 🌞.

We look forward to seeing our Year 13 students on A-Level Results Day (Thursday 13th August) and our new Year 12 students for enrolment on Thursday 20th August.

The Autumn Term will commence on the following days:

Year 12: Wednesday 2nd September
Year 13: Thursday 3rd September

Congratulations Atlantis!

On Wednesday, our annual House Competition culminated in our Eisteddfod festival of arts and saw team Atlantis raise the trophy for 2026.

Their first-ever win, led by Mr Ewers in his first year as Atlantis Head of House.

House Leader and Sixth Form student Veer represented all students who have run, sang, drawn, quizzed and cheered on others this year to take the win.

It's brilliant to see our Sixth Formers support the wider school community. They have lots in store for next year, including some exciting new events. We can't wait!

Whilst it's certainly not hoodie weather at the moment, don't miss out on the chance to order these to remember your time here!

The Yearbook is full of pictures from your time here, messages from your teachers and peers, a profile for every student, and, of course, your award winners.

The Hoodie has our embroidered logo on the front and students' names on the back in a traditional '26'. And don't forget there are 26 colours to choose from!

We had an emotional send-off for our FIRST EVER Sixth Form cohort on Friday!

We looked at their A-Level journey, recognised their incredible achievements, and of course had a traditional shirt signing!

A huge congratulations to Mrs Begum's Year 12 A-Level Religious Education class for their outstanding presentations on ethical theories, contemporary moral issues, and the compatibility between Islam and science.

Students demonstrated exceptional research skills, careful planning, and impressive presentation abilities. They spoke with confidence, engaged their audience effectively, and showcased excellent subject knowledge throughout. Their dedication and hard work truly paid off.
