Spring is on its way! 💚 🌸 🌻

We will be planting our sunflowers this week to keep indoors until it gets a bit warmer. The children will also be taking one home to look after and watch grow.

We have potatoes growing in the grow bags which the children planted last month for us to enjoy towards the end of Spring.

Shop role play🌻

The children have been really enjoying role-playing shopkeepers at the moment, so we asked parents to bring in all of their recycling bits, and we made our own shop to explore!

This activity taught the children valuable skills such as teamwork, creativity, and basic math as they practiced counting money and making change. It also encouraged them to think about the importance of recycling and reusing materials in a fun and engaging way!

With the left over recycling from our role play shop set up last week we did some junk modelling! 🤖🚤

We added masking tape and stickers to practise using those fine motor skills.

The older children helped me make a robot and a boat whilst the babies explored the different textures and sizes of the items.
