ild to progress to the best of his or her ability. I am also very dedicated to using every resource available to enhance your child’s care and make it the best it could possibly be. I have a great passion for what I do and this shows in the care I provide and the children I care for. I want both children and parents to be happy and parents content knowing that their child is in a loving caring environment that's just like being at home. My last Ofsted was done on February 2015 and the setting was rated GOOD. Services we provide are :

Who can beat the puzzle? 🧩⏱️

We turned one of our favourite shape puzzles into a little challenge and, naturally, once a timer appeared everybody suddenly had serious business to attend to. 😂

Children aged 1–4 each had a turn to see how quickly they could complete it.

But behind all the fun, there’s plenty of learning happening too. 🧠✨

At Cuddly Bears, our days are filled with outdoor adventures, nature, home-cooked meals, hands-on learning, creativity and plenty of opportunities for children to simply explore, play and be children. 💚

We also understand that childcare has to work around real family life. That’s why we offer early starts and extended care until 8:45pm by arrangement, particularly helpful for nurses, healthcare professionals, shift workers and parents working longer hours.

🌍🤎 Today we celebrated International Mud Day!

With this heatwave, there wasn’t much chance of finding any mud… so we made our own!

Our little explorers got stuck into a muddy sensory tray filled with loose natural parts and mini beasts. They searched for worms, explored different textures, stopped to smell fresh rosemary from the garden, and even spotted a little bee, turning an unexpected moment into a mini nature lesson.

We finished our adventure with some mud-themed colouring, giving everyone a chance to wind down after a morning full of messy fun and discovery.

Sometimes the simplest activities create the biggest learning opportunities. 🤎🪱🐝🌿

☀️ This heatwave didn’t stand a chance! 💦😎

When the temperatures soared, we turned up the fun instead! From water play and ice activities to juicy watermelon, surprise visits from Spider-Man 🕷️, dinosaur baths 🦖 and a well-earned ice cream to finish the day… there were smiles from start to finish.

At Cuddly Bears Little Explorers, every season is an opportunity to learn, laugh and make memories together. ❤️

Is it a secret? 🤫 Nope — just lunch! 😂

You’d think I haven’t fed them all day the way they cheer when I bring these out! 🙈

These Elk and Friends divided plates have completely changed our lunch routine:

✅ Leak-proof lids = zero mess carrying food
✅ Stackable = super easy to store & transport
✅ Stainless steel = durable, hygienic & simple to clean
✅ Divided sections = keeps food separate, no soggy bits!

This is so important to me as I travel from the kitchen to the cabin each day. I no longer have to faff around with foil or cling film, and everything arrives covered, fresh and ready to serve.

Worth every penny for busy mealtimes 🧡 The older children are even more obsessed with them than I am! 😄

Now we just need to upgrade our hydration game… 👀🥤

🍓 The Berry Busy Breakfast Bowl 🍓

Today’s breakfast was yoghurt, Cheerios, grapes and raspberries.

I’ve learned something funny over the years… the combinations I think the children will love aren’t always the favourites.

The combinations that make me think, “Well, let’s see how this goes…” somehow end up being the biggest hit! 😂

Safe to say this one was a winner this morning.

A simple breakfast packed with fruit, dairy and wholegrain goodness to help fuel a busy day of play, learning and exploring. 🌿✨

Can toddlers really grow food? 🌱

Absolutely!

Our little gardeners have been busy watering, planting, caring and learning that good things take time. Through gardening, children develop patience, responsibility, confidence and a deeper connection with nature.

There’s nothing quite like seeing their excitement when those first flowers bloom and the fruit begins to grow. 🍓🌼

Wrapping up a wonderful half term full of sunshine, adventures and happy little memories 🌿☀️

A little glimpse into our week at Cuddly Bears Little Explorers 🌿☀️

This week has been filled with sunshine, outdoor adventures, creative activities, laughter and plenty of opportunities to learn through play.

From exploring at the park to spending time in the garden and enjoying activities with friends, our little explorers have been busy making memories and developing new skills along the way.

We believe childhood should be filled with fresh air, curiosity, friendship and fun.

After all, some of the best learning happens when children are simply enjoying being children.
