🏔️ Alhamdulillah, what a weekend in the Peak District!

Three days away with our Al Miftah families, with plenty packed in from beginning to end.

We took on rock climbing and abseiling, explored the Peak District, cooked and ate together and had Qur’an circles and reminders throughout the weekend.

The children made new friends, the adults got to spend time with other families and we all had a chance to get away from the usual routine for a few days.

Jazak’Allahu khayran to everyone who joined us and helped make the weekend such an enjoyable one.

May Allah accept it from everyone involved and allow us all to benefit from the reminders and memories we came home with. Ameen ❤️

📚 Looking for an Islamic school for your child this September?

At Al Miftah Kids, we want children to enjoy coming to Islamic school each week and leave with more than just what they’ve learnt in the classroom.

Our Weekend School combines Islamic Studies, Seerah, Tafseer, Fiqh, Hadith, Qur’an memorisation, Adab and Akhlaq with a strong focus on character development and helping children grow confidently in their Muslim identity.

Along the way, there are projects, presentations, activities, trips and plenty of opportunities to build friendships with other Muslim children.

This retreat is about helping you reconnect.

Reconnect with Allah through Qur’an circles, beneficial reminders and moments of reflection.

Reconnect with your family without the usual rush of work, school and endless distractions.

A quick update for anyone who’s been thinking about joining us…

We now have just 2 private family rooms remaining.

Every family room is private, has its own en-suite bathroom, and there’s no sharing with other families, so you’ll have your own comfortable space to relax after a full day of activities.

If you’ve been waiting to decide, we’d encourage you not to leave it much longer. Once these final family rooms are gone, we’ll be fully booked.

That’s why we’ve put together our Summer Spiritual Family Retreat.

From 14th–16th August, we’ll be heading to the Peak District for three days of quality family time, surrounded by Allah’s creation. We’ll pray Fajr as the sun rises, enjoy walks with breathtaking views, take on adventure activities, gather for BBQ evenings, and benefit from Qur’an circles and reminders throughout the weekend.
