Priory School At Priory School we value every child as an individual and work hard to ensure all our children are proud to be Priory children.

Welcome to Priory School where children come first. In our caring community we value every child as an individual and we work hard to ensure all our children achieve their potential and are both successful and happy. We focus on creativity in the curriculum and provide a stimulating and exciting environment in which children can learn, create, experience and display their achievements. At Priory, all children are given the opportunity to discover their abilities, interests and strengths. Education is a partnership between home and school in which we work together to provide the best for your child. We hope that the years your child spends at Priory will always be remembered as inspiring, creative, happy and successful.

🤺 Year 2 Fencing Fun! 🤺

On Monday 12th October, some of our amazing Year 2 students headed off to Beechwood School to take part in the SSSN Fencing Festival!

The boys and girls had a fantastic afternoon learning new skills, trying their hand at fencing and taking part in some exciting activities led by Andy and the brilliant coaches from Little Musketeers Fencing.

It was wonderful to see our students showing such enthusiasm, determination and teamwork as they experienced a new sport.

A huge thank you to Andy, the Little Musketeers coaches and SSSN for organising such a brilliant afternoon!

👏 Well done to all our young fencers! 🤺

This week’s challenge in STEM club was to build the tallest tower possible out of spaghetti and marshmallows! The epic engineers discovered that triangles are the strongest shape to construct. This challenge was a great opportunity to demonstrate problem solving, teamwork and our school behaviour - determination. 💪🏼 🏫📖✂️📘

As part of their rocks and soils topic in science, the Year 3 children had the opportunity to take part in a range of activities to help them learn about fossils. This afternoon, they became amateur archaeologists in our excavation area; used magnifying glasses to study the details of prehistoric dinosaurs and fossils; as well as making their own fossils out of Plaster of Paris. 🪨🔍🪏🦕🦖
