A CHAPTER CLOSES

HEAD BOY & PREFECTS 2026 - 2027
Flynn (Head Boy) will be supported next year by his Prefects: Theo (Norfolk), Hayden (Sussex), TJ (Cowdray) & Lucas (Richmond, not pictured).
The prefects are chosen by Heads of Houses, Mrs Draper (Norfolk), Miss Sacre (Sussex), Miss Thompson (Cowdray) & Mrs Seaby (Richmond) and were announced during the Prize Giving today.

FLYNN ANNOUNCED AS HEAD BOY OF SLINDON COLLEGE
After a process that included both a written letter and interview, Mrs Vlahodimou (Headteacher) & Mr Robson (Assistant Head) have announced Flynn (Year 11) as the new Head Boy of Slindon College. He will take up his duty from Academic Year 2026 - 2027 with our future Headteacher, Mr Critchard.
The post was announced during the Prize Giving today.

🏆PRIZE GIVING 2026 🏆
A packed out tent of pupils, parents and staff in our stunning grounds this afternoon for our annual Prize Giving. A HUGE well done to all who went home with awards for their astounding effort at Slindon College!
The afternoon was led by outgoing Headteacher, Mrs Vlahodimou & Vice-Chairman of Governors, Mrs Aughwane and their staff team.
There were speeches from staff, as well as specially made videos by Mr Bentley-Angell (Head of Performing Arts).

👋 Goodbye, Mrs Vlahodimou! 👋
After ten years at the college in various positions, our Headteacher is moving on and the pupils and staff said a warm farewell with a special video of Best bits.' The pupil led video saw some of her acting contributions to school plays as well as her more official jobs at the College! There was even a special message from former Assistant Head, Mr Sharpe.
The farewell was led by Mr Robson (Assistant Head) with video created by Mr Bentley-Angell (Head of Performing Arts).
