We have had a brilliant day at Skegness celebrating class of 2026 Preschoolers. Everyone was so well behaved and we had the best time exploring and making memories which will last forever . Thank you to the parents who chose to come with us . 💚

Bumblebee week across the setting 🐝

Physical Education preparation for primary schools💚

Physical education in the early years plays a vital role in supporting children's holistic development, laying the foundations for a healthy, active lifestyle. Through movement based play and structured physical activity, our young children develop their gross and fine motor skills, balance, coordination, and spatial awareness . Our Preschool children have enjoyed trying this out this morning.

New staff Alert 💚
We would like to welcome Keris and Lacey to our team . Both girls will be starting their Level 3 apprenticeships with us through riverside training centre. We are all very exited to see what they will achieve.

A huge congratulations to Lara , one of our Early years apprentices who is no longer an apprentice! Lara has completed her Early years Educator apprenticeship and received a distinction. We are all super proud and are very exited to see what she will achieve next . 🥳💚

Spreading kindness in the community 💚
Today some of our children from Purple Explorers made cakes to give to the staff at nursery and members of the community. The children enjoyed learning about kindness and enjoyed seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they handed them a cake .

Pet day at Sleaford Day nursery 🐶🐹
We have had some very special visitors at nursery today , Rocky and Oreo the guinea pigs and Mika the dog . We have enjoyed lots of cuddles and conversations about how we look after our pets . Thank you all for sending in pictures of your pets , we have enjoyed speaking about them during circle time .

We would like to welcome Faith and Elle to the team . Both girls will be completing their apprenticeships with us and can’t wait to get started . They have had a fantastic first week and we can’t wait to see what the future holds 💚
