Weenesday 24th June • 7.30-17.30

Families, friends, visitors and staff… Everyone is welcome to join us in completing 600 mile challenge on the static bikes and help us raise money for the RAF Association!

1315 miles is the distance it would take to cycle to between all the RAFAKidz centres in the UK!

You can turn up on the day, book a slot or jump on the bike during drop-off & collection times. 🚴

Please help us raise as much money as possible for the RAF Association! Whether its £1 or £100 its hugely appreciated!

A huge thank you to the amazing team from Babcock for spending the day volunteering in our nursery garden today! 🌿☀️

Your hard work, enthusiasm, and teamwork have made such a difference to our outdoor space, creating an even more wonderful environment for the children to learn, play, and explore.

Today we are celebrating the incredible Sir David Attenborough on his 100th birthday! 🌿🦋🐘

To honour his lifelong passion for wildlife, nature, and the planet, we challenged all of our rooms, staff, and children to create beautiful fruit platters inspired by Sir David and the amazing world around us. 🍉🍓🥝

Happy 100th Birthday Sir David Attenborough — thank you for inspiring generations to care for our world. 💚🌍

On Saturday some staff from RAFAKidz Cranwell and RAFAKidz Digby spent the day in training, focusing on slowing down our pedagogy, being more intentional with our environment, and planting those all-important seeds of curiosity 🌱

It was a valuable reminder that learning doesn’t need to be rushed. By giving children the time and space to explore, wonder, and discover at their own pace, we can create deeper, more meaningful learning experiences.

We’re excited to bring these ideas into our settings and continue nurturing curious, confident little learners 💛

🌿✨ Forest School Fun in the Early Years! ✨🌿

This week our little explorers got hands-on with nature!

From shaping clay into imaginative man in the moon faces, utilizing nature to make mini alien friends, to observing the tiniest bugs in their habitats, curiosity was the star of the day. 🐞🌱

We love seeing how children learn through play—discovering textures, practicing fine motor skills, and developing a deep connection with the natural world. Every stick, bug, and bit of clay sparks creativity and wonder! 💚

During April, we are proud to celebrate the Month of the Military Child 💜

Today was a truly special moment for one of our families, as a parent returned home. We are incredibly grateful that they have kindly allowed us to share this heartfelt video of their reunion — seeing them together again for the first time this year as a family.

Moments like these remind us of the strength, resilience, and sacrifices our military children and their families make every day.
