⭐️Another busy week in kids club⭐️

This week we welcomed the 1st of December with lots of Christmas crafts and activities, we also put up the Christmas tree and decorations🎄🎅🏼

On Thursday we made yellow cheetah themed cookies for international Cheetah day and we finished the week with a challenge of cracking the ice to free the treasure and Christmas wordsearches🎄

What a busy week our kids club have had!

⭐️This weeks cookery club session was make your own pizzas🍕
⭐️We had Lego club where we built lots of really cool structures.
⭐️Prince and Princess day crown making.
⭐️Dinosaur bones in the sand and Dino claw sun catchers
⭐️We made playdough together!
⭐️Lilo and Stitch colouring and activity sheets

Yesterday the children in Preschool worked together to plant lots of vegetables in the cookery club vegetable patch. We talked all about planting and how to care for our growing plants. We are looking forward to watching our vegetables grow over the weeks and already thinking about what we can make with them at cookery club 👨‍🍳🥕🥦

🇬🇧 VE day, garden party celebrations 🇬🇧

🚒International Fire Fighter Day🚒

The children have been learning all about firefighters as part of international firefighter day and this morning we had a special visit from the local Fire Brigade.

The children had lots of fun exploring the fire engine, using the hose and meeting the fire fighters.

Preschool talked about some of the things they learned from the visit,

“On the fire truck we saw flash lights, walkie talkies and a hose”

“They need the flash lights for if it’s dark”

“Fire people keep everyone safe in the whole world from the fires”

“Squirting the water was so fun”

Thank you to the Sleaford fire fighters for your time today the children had a lovely morning 🙂

Today Preschool made their own mini pizzas at cookery club, practicing chopping skills and trying new foods.
We finished the activity with a pizza picnic snack outside in the sunshine ☀️ 🍕
