Morning all! Some awesome results and happy faces yesterday ☺️

Just an update on spaces!

Daytime: I have a couple of spaces available for resits (English/Maths), or home educated/flexi-schooling learners. These are super limited-I have just a couple of hours available now!

Groups:

11+ group has a couple of spaces-it’s well worth starting early for the confidence it brings.
Year 10 Maths: spaces for this are now very limited! Again, it’s worth building skills and confidence early in the GCSE curriculum.
Year 11 English Language: I’m now able to take bookings for next half term. We will mostly be focussing on building skills and writing stamina for Paper 1, qu 5 (AQA).

As the final part of the 11+ is on us, I’d like to wish the best of luck to all of my students taking their exam today. You’ve all worked hard and I wish you every success ☺️

Just a reminder that groups restart tonight as part of my phased return. If you had a daytime lesson last week, your timings are as they were last week, just to allow me extra breaks etc. We aim to be back at full steam next week with the final few returners…again, thank you so much to everyone for their patience whilst I get back into it!

YEAR 10 MATHS

Spaces available now!

Monday, 5-6pm Heckington Pavilion

We are a small and friendly group, who focus on filling gaps in knowledge, rich tasks to extend thinking, and familiarity with exam style questions. We are perfectly suited both to students who lack confidence, but also to those who wish to rapidly boost their grade.

My Year 11 Maths group is currently full (I genuinely wish I had time to run another!).

Results day tomorrow! Please don’t forget little old me in the excitement…i honestly get like a proud parent every August and I absolutely love hearing the results of your hard work, and what fabulous things you have planned!

Much love again to my wonderful, patient and kind families. I’m so lucky to have you all 🥰

I’m not all that much better in terms of still on crutches and dealing with 5 separate injuries in one knee 🤦🏼‍♀️ but pain wise I’m improving and can put my foot to the floor now, so hopefully improvements are coming!

Some dates for your diary-

Daytime sessions will commence w/b 7th
September for many of you (subject to medical appointments 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Evening 1:1 commences w/b 14th September

Groups commence w/b 14th September, aside from 11+ 2027 which will be 21st September

Group booking and payment info will arrive at some point over the next week, and will reflect sessions ‘owed’ to those of you who have been so wonderfully patient with me from last term.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with me-I have a long road ahead, but I’m very slowly beating this injury 💪🏻
