Results day tomorrow! Please don’t forget little old me in the excitement…i honestly get like a proud parent every August and I absolutely love hearing the results of your hard work, and what fabulous things you have planned!

Much love again to my wonderful, patient and kind families. I’m so lucky to have you all 🥰

I’m not all that much better in terms of still on crutches and dealing with 5 separate injuries in one knee 🤦🏼‍♀️ but pain wise I’m improving and can put my foot to the floor now, so hopefully improvements are coming!

Some dates for your diary-

Daytime sessions will commence w/b 7th
September for many of you (subject to medical appointments 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Evening 1:1 commences w/b 14th September

Groups commence w/b 14th September, aside from 11+ 2027 which will be 21st September

Group booking and payment info will arrive at some point over the next week, and will reflect sessions ‘owed’ to those of you who have been so wonderfully patient with me from last term.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with me-I have a long road ahead, but I’m very slowly beating this injury 💪🏻

Just a note to say that I WILL be returning to work in September. I am likely to still be on crutches, and may have to make a couple of small alterations for my comfort, but I’ll be here ☺️

I’ve just had a lovely chat today with an ex-student (who is in the final few anxious weeks of waiting for his GCSE results)! We always had such a good laugh during our sessions and very often worked to music as it really helped him. I’d like to quote something he said to me to give you an idea of how I teach….

‘You’re like all the fun of Jack Black with all the cleverness of Matilda’

I do have a couple of daytime spaces for home ed/resit in September, if you think I might be for you ☺️

Hi all!

Just thought I’d post an update. Since most of us last spoke, I’ve been diagnosed with a nasty area of bruising to my femur, which contains a number of microfractures. Basically it’s stay off my leg or risk a full fracture! I am making some progress however, I’m in a lot less pain and I can put my foot to the floor, so I’m very confident I’ll be back to work fully in September (even if I need a little more time to move around!)

I appreciate everyone’s patience more than I can say. I’m now closed for summer but will be in touch mid August, once I’ve had a break to concentrate on my physio, in order to schedule September 1:1 and group sessions.

Have a lovely summer all!

Just confirming there will be no face to face lessons at all now this term-I just can’t. I’ve tried to message round individually but sorry if I missed anyone.

UPDATE

Currently awaiting MRI results/diagnosis/treatment plan, which I should have Monday.

For this reason, I will not be conducting any further face to face lessons until September.

I hope you can understand that right now, I cannot leave the house easily, and I can’t sit up in a chair above a few minutes, so it just isn’t workable! I’ll try and get in touch with everyone separately but thank you again to everyone, and thank you so much for the massive amount of understanding and compassion I’ve received.

You and your children mean the world to me, and I cannot wait to be better and back with them!

Hi all! Another general update.

Unfortunately I’m still in pain and non weightbearing, so will be needing a little more time off! It is looking as though the issue is in fact in my hip, but I’m on my way to a proper diagnosis now so positive on that front.

I’m still in a lot of pain, but completely humbled by the lovely messages I’ve had from so many of you. Thank you so very much!

Hi all.

Still in a bit of a pickle here! For this reason I will remain closed Monday 6th July-I remain sofa bound unfortunately but do have a medical appointment on Monday evening.

I’m afraid that due to my pain levels I’m not yet able to do any zoom lessons on that day, and I’m also not able to leave the house to come to groups😔

I’ll try and contact every family individually, and promise to sort out prepaid groups with you as soon as I can.

Once again thank you so much for the well wishes, and I will keep you all posted. Appreciate your patience so very much!

30/06/2026

EDIT:
I will be closed the rest of this week. Will keep you posted beyond that. 😔

Many of you will know about my hurt leg and how I’ve been struggling. I’m afraid I’m now in hospital and have no idea what’s happening as yet. Therefore, there is a good chance I will be closed the rest of the week. I’ll try to contact people individually if I’m able 🩼🤕
