🌞 We can't believe the summer holidays are almost over! 🌞

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our children back to school on Thursday 3rd September.

Over the summer, we have had some exciting updates to our playground and field. Our new sensory garden is beginning to take shape, and we have installed new planters on the field ready for our growing projects. We can't wait for the children to enjoy these new spaces!

We hope you have all had a wonderful summer and made lots of special memories with your families. We'd love to see what our staff, children and families have been up to over the holidays.

Calling all little cake designers! 🧁✨

I’m running a Halloween Cake Design Competition and I’d love to see your spookiest, creepiest or most magical cake ideas! 🕷️🦇🎃

Here’s how to enter:
🎨 Draw or design your very own Halloween-themed cake
📸 Take a photo of your design
📩 Send it to me via WhatsApp (07305434513) or messenger
📆 Closing date: Monday 12th October
🎭 All children's artwork will be proudly showcased on my social media page as a reel (with parents permission)

There’s no age limit — children of any age can enter! ❤️
I’ll choose one winning design, and I’ll bring their creation to life by making them a FREE 4-inch celebration cake featuring their design! 🎂👻 *This cake serves 4-6 slices*

*The cake will be made wb.26.10.26. The date can be arranged
*You must be able to collect from Ruskington or I can deliver locally (check first)

We are absolutely delighted to share that Mrs Moore has officially passed her Level 3 Forest School Leadership Qualification! 🎉👏

Mrs Moore has worked incredibly hard towards this achievement, showing tremendous dedication, enthusiasm and passion every step of the way. Her commitment to providing enriching outdoor learning experiences for our children has been truly inspiring, and we could not be prouder of her. 🥰

This qualification will further enhance the fantastic outdoor learning opportunities already available to our children and support exciting developments across the whole school.
As we continue to grow our Forest School provision, children will benefit from opportunities to develop:
🌿 Bushcraft and knot-tying skills�🔥 Fire safety awareness and supervised campfire experiences�🍳 Outdoor cooking activities

As well as continuing to work on: �🪚 Practical and safe tool-use skills�🌳 Confidence, resilience and independence through nature-based learning
