Sometimes our end goals take a different path than we first expected, and that’s okay.

If your GCSE results weren’t quite what you hoped for, GCSE resit lessons can give you another opportunity to achieve the grades you need for your next step.

If you’re aiming to improve your Maths or English grade through a re-sit, we offer supportive, focused tuition tailored to your individual needs, helping you build confidence, fill any gaps in knowledge and work towards your goals.

Your journey may look different, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still reach the destination you’re aiming for.

Debra and Sarah are now taking bookings to support any students who are due to re-sit English Language and Foundation Maths GCSEs. We have spaces during the day/Sundays to fit in with your college/sixth form timetables and free periods.

People often ask me if I teach online......

Here's the answer: I have in the past (remember those lockdown lessons with all those technical issues??!).

However, I always choose face to face over online teaching. Having taught in both ways, there are many reasons for this:

👥Face-to-face tuition offers a more personal and engaging learning experience than online lessons. Being in the same room allows the tutor to build a strong relationship with the student, pick up on body language and confidence levels, and respond immediately when they are struggling or need extra support.

✅Students are often more focused and less distracted, while interactive discussion, questioning and hands-on activities can make learning more enjoyable and effective.

🎯Face-to-face tuition also provides a structured learning environment, helping students stay motivated, develop good study habits and get the individual attention they need to make real progress.

Week 2 of bootcamp has been amazing!

These 6 little legends have worked their socks off and shown super resilience, helpfulness and determination.

We've quizzed, we've timed, we've practised, we've learnt new skills, we've learnt short cuts. But most of all we've had fun!

Tomorrow is mock test day so all these skills will be up against the clock.

Week 1 of year 5 bootcamp.....COMPLETED!! Everyone worked so hard and learnt so much. New friends were made and confidence was lifted.

Today we finished with some mock tests after 3 days of mastering many skills.

Ding ding 🔔 round 2 next week!

It's A level results day!!

Super proud of my daughter Sophie Casserley for getting the results she needed to go to Manchester Met to study Psychology 🎉🥳🥂

Big shout out to Psych with Gem who helped Sophie get past that last hurdle to achieve the grade she needed.
If you're after a psychology tutor....she's the best!
