11+ Top Tip ⬇️

This week: never take too long on one question.

There are a variety of question types in the 11+. Some will take longer than others, but never spend too long on one question. If you are struggling, take a guess and move on. You can always come back to a question, but if you run out of time you risk losing marks that you may have easily gained. The word problems are often time consuming along with some of the alphabet sections. Have a go, but be careful of how much time you are using!

A huge well done to everyone who came to bootcamp this week! We’ve had lots of fun, shown enthusiasm, demonstrated resilience, completed a walk-through mock test and giggled along the way! Lots of us also fed the chickens some leaves. 🐓

This week: never leave a question blank.

If the question box has nothing marked, you will not get a mark! Even if you’re guessing, there is a chance of gaining a mark. When guessing lots of answers, make sure you mark them all of the same to give yourself a higher chance of getting some more marks.
