Today, we were delighted to welcome Solar Sophie from Mad Science for a fantastic science assembly!

The session was full of fun, excitement and fascinating experiments that had the children captivated from start to finish! 🤩

The children absolutely loved watching the experiments and discovering the wonders of science in such a fun and engaging way.

A huge thank you to Solar Sophie for inspiring our young scientists and bringing science to life! 🌟🔬

On Friday 11th September, the children in Year 1 and 2 joined Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler for a special online school event to introduce their hugely anticipated brand-new story, Gruffalo Granny. 🐾📖

The children listened to the story, read by Julia Donaldson and were then inspired by Axel Scheffler to draw their own illustrations based on the book. ✏️🎨

This amazing opportunity was enjoyed by all the children and was another wonderful event supporting our Trust’s ‘Love of Reading’. ❤️📚

We were delighted to welcome Karen and Emily from Network Rail into school on Monday, who delivered an engaging assembly to KS1 and KS2, followed by an exciting careers workshop with Year 6. The children loved dressing up and exploring the wide range of roles available within the rail industry. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn about different careers and discover the skills needed to work in the world of rail.
