☀️ Wow, what a brilliant Summer Fair! ☀️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a lovely, sunny evening. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time. A huge well done to all the kids who performed too, you were brilliant! 🎶🌟

We are absolutely thrilled to report that together, we raised a grand total of... £2,679.37! 🥳🎉
Every single penny goes directly toward our long-term £25k goal to replace the condemned wooden play equipment, so this is a massive boost.

A huge THANK YOU to:
- Our PTA members for all your support and effort in planning and running the fair.
- Our wonderful volunteers who stepped up on the night (we couldn't do it without you).
- Everyone who donated tombola and raffle prizes.
- The tidy-up crew who helped get the school grounds back to normal afterward.

We also want to give a special shout-out to the local businesses who supported us, including:
The Paper Shop for donating all the soft drinks 🥤
Dark Horse Brewery for providing the ale 🍺

Want to join the fun?
Being on the PTA is open to absolutely everyone. There is no obligation to regularly commit time, and it definitely doesn't require a huge investment of your hours to be involved. Every little bit of help makes a difference!
If you would like to get involved, help run the next event, or just share your ideas, look out for details of our next meeting which will be in September. In the meantime, we will be doing refreshments at sports day and a welcome morning on the first day of the new term.

☀️ Summer Fair Appeal! ☀️

We are short on volunteers for this Friday, especially for the later slots. If we don't get more help, several stalls—including the Tombolas, Lucky Dips, Games, and Refreshments—will have to close after just one hour.

It’s just 1 hour: You'll likely be there anyway, and running them is super simple!

Perk: You get a free drink as a thank you. 🥤🎉

Please help us keep everything open so the kids have a great night!

Join us for our annual Summer Fair, organised by the PTA, for an evening of fun, games and community vibes. There’ll be stalls, tasty treats, raffles, and loads of activities for the kids (and grown-ups!) to enjoy. Every penny raised goes straight back into supporting our school.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our PTA events this week. It’s been great to see so many families getting involved.

Our World Book Day book sale raised £106.40, and the PTA Pub Quiz raised £440.50, giving a fantastic £546.90 in total for our playground equipment fundraising. 🎉

Special thanks to The Elm Tree Inn for hosting a brilliant evening last night and for your continued support with event prizes throughout the year.🍾
And a big thank you to John Mason Printers for kindly donating bookmarks for every child in the school 📕

Thank you to everyone who donated books, came along to buy one, joined the quiz, and helped organise the events. It really does make a difference for the school.

Embsay School PTA would like to say a huge thank you to Morrisons Skipton Community Champion for helping us secure over 100 pumpkins for our pumpkin patch at our Autumn Fair 🎃 They have generously donated raffle prizes too.
All proceeds from our events this acedemic year will help us raise funds for new laptops and iPads for the school.

See you tomorrow in the field straight after school! (Please bring a bag for life to carry your pumpkins home!)🎃🍂🧁
