Well done to our boys year 5/6 football team who won the upper Wharefdale small schools football tournament this afternoon. After brilliant performances in all our games, it came down to a penalty shoot out in the final. Fantastic goalkeeping from Henry kept us in it and nerves of steel from Angus, who scored the winning penalty, saw us to victory. Eddie and Oliver shared the golden boot and Imam and Charlie were rock solid in defence. Well done boys.

What a cracking day! Our year 5 and 6 children had a fantastic day at Chippendale Food Ltd egg processing factory, learning all about how our food gets from field to fork. Angus even found some eggs from his farm! Thank you to everyone at Myton Food group for looking after us so well.

🌟 Huge congratulations to our amazing Year 3 superstar!

She set herself a challenge to hike up 3 peaks over the Summer holidays and completed the Bolton Abbey Three Peaks!

She conquered:

Simon’s Seat ✅
Haw Pike ✅
North Nab ✅

She has raised an incredible £105 for the Friends of Beamsley School charity supporting Boyle and Petyt Primary School.

We are so proud of her determination, what an inspiration to us all! 👏

We had a wonderful visit to the Shree Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Temple in Bradford, where our children learned all about how Hindus worship. Thank you to everyone at the temple for being so engaging and welcoming- we all really enjoyed our visit.

Goodbye to our magnificent year 6 children. You have enriched our school community and we will miss you. It’s now time to go off and grasp new opportunities!
