On Saturday, we all gathered together at Attermire CaféBar to celebrate Helen’s retirement! 💜

Helen and Bob’s family and friends, along with past and present staff, came together to celebrate Helen and everything she has done over the years. What a lovely evening it was, filled with wonderful memories, lots of laughter and plenty of stories from throughout the years!

Helen was showered with gifts, cards, good wishes and so many lovely words from everyone who came along. The children and staff also had a very special surprise for Helen… keep your eyes peeled on Facebook this afternoon to see what it was!

A huge thank you to Attermire for providing the most delicious food and lovely service — everything was absolutely amazing!

Happy retirement Helen, we hope you have the most wonderful time enjoying this exciting new chapter! We are looking forward to seeing ChipMonks continue to flourish under Jasmine’s leadership, building on the wonderful foundations that Helen has created over the years. Jasmine is excited to begin this new chapter and continue the journey, whilst carrying forward the values, care and dedication that Helen has always brought to ChipMonks 💜

This morning, we celebrated Helen’s retirement with a surprise party! 💜

After an incredible eighteen years at ChipMonks, it’s time for Helen to put her feet up, relax and enjoy some well-deserved time to unwind after all her hard work over the years!

We’re going to miss Helen so much, and we made sure she knew just how loved and appreciated she is! We each gifted her some beautiful flowers with special notes, to remind her just how wonderful she is!

We’ve also been working super hard behind the scenes on a very special scrapbook. Inside, there’s a beautiful poem, drawings from the children, and some lovely words and memories from both past and present parents. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed — it really made the scrapbook extra special!

Helen and her husband, Bob, also received a very special ChipMonks Champion Certificate for one last time!

Thank you for everything Helen. You’ll always be such a special part of the ChipMonks family, and we hope you have the happiest retirement. You’ve truly earned it! Thank you for creating such a special place for children, families and staff to be 💜

Here’s to the next chapter, Helen — enjoy every minute!

This weeks staff shout out goes to Liv! Liv has been part of the ChipMonks family since April 2024 and at the start of this year, settled into the Rainbow Room.

Liv works alongside our oldest ChipMonks, supporting and encouraging them as they prepare for their exciting school journeys!

This weeks staff shout-out goes to Beth! Beth is one of our amazing Raindrop Room staff members and works alongside our youngest little ChipMonks!

Beth began her journey with us in January 2022 and has been a familiar face in there ever since. Beth’s calm and patient nature is what helps the Raindrops to thrive and settle in as they start their nursery adventures!

We are very lucky to have you Beth, thank you for everything that you do! 💜

A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Becki to ChipMonks for a morning photo shoot!

Becki is incredibly talented at what she does and captured some lovely, natural moments of our wonderful children, amazing team and our fabulous building. We can’t wait to use these lovely photos as we refresh our ChipMonks website and update our social media pages over the coming weeks!

Our Raindrops have been super busy over the last few weeks! 💧

We’ve been having so much fun getting stuck into lots of exciting sensory play! Our colour-changing egg has been fascinating to watch, helping us to explore different colours in a calm and relaxing environment. We have also explored bubbles, along with lots of singing, dancing and waving our colourful scarves!

We have also done some yummy baking too! The babies made some delicious biscuits, carefully helping to pour, stir and mix the ingredients, before enjoying the best part… tasting the finished product! Raindrops have also been loving exploring the outdoors, reading stories and even coming across some beautiful butterflies to watch!

A couple of weeks ago, the Rainbows welcomed some very special visitors… caterpillars! 🐛

We were all so excited for their arrival and made sure we were all ready and prepared! We enjoyed reading stories about their journey and learning all about the fascinating life cycle of a butterfly! It has been wonderful to watch them grow and change every day!

Today was the day that they were ready to be released! With a little help from the Sunshines, we carefully placed them onto our beautiful flowers, before watching them spread their wings and fly away onto their next adventure! 🦋

On Friday, the Rainbows and Sunshines celebrated the end of term with a big picnic! The sun was shining and everyone was super excited to spend time together!

A HUGE thank you goes to Trish, for preparing such a delicious picnic for us all to enjoy. She provided a fantastic selection of tasty food and snacks and even a cake for dessert! We also had some exciting visitors! Lara and baby Luna came to join us for a catch up and some lovely cuddles!

As if that wasn’t enough, we had another special surprise later in the day! We were treated to delicious ice creams with sprinkles and sauce, which everyone definitely enjoyed!

What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of term and make some lovely memories together! 🌈☀️
