What if communication goes far beyond words?

Join us for a special evening inspired by the global phenomenon The Telepathy Tapes, bringing together leading voices exploring nonspeaking communication, consciousness and the possibilities of human connection.

Featuring Ky Dickens, creator of The Telepathy Tapes, alongside cognitive neuroscientist Dr Julia Mossbridge, Natalia Meehan, Theresa Cheung, Rohan Routroy, and special guests: parents of nonspeakers.

Through personal stories, research and live conversation, we’ll explore what nonspeaking individuals may teach us about communication, connection and the ways we relate to one another beyond language.

The evening will include reflections from Ky Dickens and Theresa Cheung, followed by a live panel discussion with Julia Mossbridge, Natalia Meehan and parents of nonspeakers.

What is Consciousness?

Is consciousness something that arises from within us — a phenomenon generated by the human brain and body?
 
Or is it something the brain receives — a fundamental aspect of reality that exists beyond the individual self?
 
Is it personal… or fundamental to reality itself?
 
At the Centre for Liminal Studies, we’re interested in the edges of these questions — where neuroscience, philosophy, physics and lived experience begin to overlap.
 
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be exploring different perspectives from researchers, practitioners and thinkers working in this space.

Good Morning and Happy Summer Solstice or Litha to all you revellers celebrating in the Northern Hemisphere.

Are you marking this event today? As every year here in the UK, thousands of people have made their pilgrimage to significant ancient sites, the most famous being Stone Henge in Wiltshire, England. Some still light bonfires and commune in celebration of the longest day.

Others may be reflecting quietly on their personal growth over the first half of the year, perhaps journaling and giving thanks in the sunlight.

Perhaps you are creating your own, more domestic ritual such as lighting a golden candle, creating a solar crystal grid using sunstone and/or citrine. Or perhaps you are meditating with gratitude in the sunlight.

Dandelions

🌼From childhood playfulness to divination and weather predictions, the humble Dandelion (particularly once the petals have finished and the seed head is open) is a familiar sight in temperate climates.

🧚They are also affectionately referred to as “fairy clocks”. In Fae Magick lore, these folk are born from sunshine and stardust in the centre of flowers (remember Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies books from 1923?) and that the floating seeds acted as messengers or even tiny wands that carried thoughts and wishes to loved ones.

🌬️Today, children still love blowing the seeds away and sometimes may make wishes to send out into the world.

🌱What a beautiful introduction to dissemination, keeping good thoughts and intentions, and letting these fae-seeds carry their energy out into the world.

✨When was the last time you made a wish on a dandelion? Do you have your own ritual of setting intentions, manifesting and releasing that energy?
