84% of dyslexics have higher than average reasoning skills - making us brilliant at solving puzzles.

Our ability to see the bigger picture and spot patterns that others miss makes us brilliant spies, too! So it's no wonder that our skills are viewed as 'mission critical' by GCHQ.

Did you know... you can often spot dyslexics in the workplace (and in the classroom) by their strengths and challenges.

We often score very high in some things ⬆️ (often in the top percentile) and very low in others ⬇️ (often in the bottom percentile). This is known as a 'spiky profile'. 📈

For example:
😊 71% of dyslexics are great at communicating (verbal reasoning) - but 89% are poor spellers (working memory)
🔎 8 out of 10 dyslexics are above average at lateral thinking (questioning), but 9 in 10 struggle getting thoughts on paper (organisation).

But, in our new AI-driven world, technology can help mitigate our challenges and our strengths are now the most valuable skills to every employer, across the world.
