Hello everyone, I'm Natalie and I am qualified with an (hons) degree in Early Years. I have worked in childcare for the past 19 years and super passionate about early years. I love setting up learning opportunities for the little ones and seeing them enjoy learning through their play whilst learning new skills. I have had so many positive stories of how our messy play classses have helped with sensory issues or how it has help their child's willingness to trying new foods. What is Little Adventures? Little Adventures is an independent family run Montessori inspired messy play business running classes and Parties in Craven and surrounding areas. Our classes are for children aged 5months-5 years and are each week we go on different adventures based around story books and themes. We provide a good mixture of wet and dry mess such as gloop, cereals, playdough, paints and custard etc plus plenty of vegetables ( perfect for weaning babies to explore new textures and tastes). Our classes are super fun but also educational. Maria Montessori believed that 'play was a child's work' and that they learn by watching others and having a go. Natural learning at its best. Does your child not like getting messy? Our classes are perfect for this as they can help children develop better relationships with foods, textures etc due to been able to explore the mess freely. Our trays always have tools that the children can use so them not wanting to touch the mess with there hands at first isn't a problem. Our also offer UNLIMITED messy play that no other messy play classes around offer! sign up to your main class but if you want to do more messy play in the same week just book onto another class at a different venue at no extra cost. It will cost you just £6.50 per week! Our classes are a perfect way for you to meet new people and as we are block book only you will see the same families each week giving you and your child/ren even more opportunities to make new friends! Our classes are for children aged 5 months +. We have alot of babies attend our classes. we ensure our classes are baby friendly with plenty for them to do. we have different vegetables each week so that they can be introduced to new foods to help creative those positive relationships with food. We are not just messy play we also have a fibre optics den which is a perfect spot if your baby gets tired to share a book or two together ❤. We currently run termly classes in Long Preston,Ingleton, Bradley ( Keighley), Bingley. We also run one off specials in Settle.
