🍦 This afternoon we celebrated the end of term with free ice cream for the pupils at Skelton Primary School🍦

☀️Summer Fair ☀️

🍦Thank you so much to all the parents/grandparents and carers who attended the Summer Fair on Thursday. With your help, FOSPS raised £500 on our stalls - a record amount for us at an event.

🙏🏻 We couldn’t do it without some special thank yous - firstly to all our volunteers, committee and otherwise, who gave up time to plan, bake, create, donate prizes and run stalls. Huge thanks must also go to Josh from Skelton Convenience Store for very generously donating the ice cream, wafers, flakes and cones - the ice cream stall was a total hit and we really appreciate it! Thanks to Wacky Warehouse for the donation of play passes. Finally, thanks to the staff and teachers at Skelton Primary School, especially Mr Marshall, who very gamely agreed to get soaked all in the name of a good cause!

📝 We plan to be busy over the summer thinking up events for next year/agreeing best use of funds raised following our first full year of being up and running, so please watch this space!

🍰 Cake Stall Reminder! 🍰

A little reminder that if you've kindly offered to bake for our Summer Fair cake stall, please send your delicious bakes into school tomorrow.

Every donation is hugely appreciated and helps us raise money for the children. Whether it's cupcakes, brownies, traybakes or a whole cake, we'd be so grateful for your support! 💛

Thank you so much to everyone who is baking and donating – we can't wait to see all your amazing creations at the Summer Fair! 🎂🧁

☀️We hope everyone is looking forward to the ‘Skelton Primary School Summer Fair’, this Thursday 9th July, 3:30 - 4:30pm☀️

Friends of Skelton Primary School are going to be running some stalls, including:

🍦 ice cream stall
🧽 splash the teacher
🍰 cake stall
🥥 coconut shy
🧸 toy tombola
📕 book stall
🍭 lollipop lucky dip.

🤖 As a reminder for the toy tombola, tomorrow (Tuesday 7th July), is a non-uniform day in exchange for good quality (not damaged/broken) second hand toys/games for the tombola. 🤖

🧁 We are also asking if there are any enthusiastic bakers in the community who would be able to donate cakes/bakes for the cake stall, to be dropped at the school Thursday morning. 🧁

The Fair is open to members of the community along with parents/carers of children at the school so please come by and support the School and Friends of Skelton - we look forward to seeing you all there! 🎉

Get yourself down to footgolf 17th june where they are having a brilliant SpeedQuiz hosted by ex-Shed Seven drummer Alan Leach and I know he'd love to get as many teams as possible to enter. Plus hopefully stay and watch the footy. It’s always a great atmosphere.
