25โ€“30 Hours per Week

Are you passionate about giving children the very best start in life?
Do you enjoy creating fun, engaging learning experiences and building positive relationships with children and families?
If so, we'd love to hear from you!

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our Dots family for 25โ€“30 hours per week.

What we're looking for:

-A warm, nurturing and positive approach to working with young children.
-A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
-A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
-Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-A commitment to supporting every child to reach their full potential.

Your role will include:

-Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0โ€“5 years.
-Planning and delivering exciting, child-led learning opportunities.
-Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
-Building strong partnerships with parents and carers.
-Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
-Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

Get ready for an action-packed Summer because our Dots n Spots Summer Holiday Club 2026 is almost here ๐ŸŽ‰

From 20th July - 1st September 2026, weโ€™ll be taking school children aged 4-11 years on an exciting journey filled with adventures, trips, inflatables, games, crafts, sports, outdoor fun and so much more!

โœจEach week brings a brand-new theme:

๐Ÿฆ„ Week 1 - Spellbinding Summer Club
Step into a magical world of witches, wizards, spells and enchanting adventures, including a giant Unicorn inflatable day and a trip to Redcar.

๐Ÿ‰ Week 2 - Medieval Legends Club
Become brave knights and fierce dragons as we explore castles, legends and enjoy a trip to Stewartโ€™s Park.

๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ Week 3 - Pirates of the Club
Ahoy, mateys! Join our pirate crew for treasure hunts, pirate challenges and a swashbuckling trip to Whitby.

โš”๏ธ Week 4 - Gladiator Champions Club
Train like a champion, take on exciting challenges and conquer our Gladiator Duel Inflatable, plus an adventure to Saltburn Woods & Beach.

๐Ÿพ Week 5 - Wild About Nature Club
Meet amazing animals, enjoy nature-themed activities and visit Gripps Farm as we explore the wonderful world around us.

Celebrate teamwork, competition and fun with sport activities, our very own Dots n Spots Cinema and a fantastic Summer Party to finish the holidays in style!

๐Ÿ•š Hours: 11:00am โ€“ 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
โœจ Extra hours may be available to cover staff holidays, sickness, and busy periods.

What you'll be doing:

Clubโ€™s World Cup Flag Competition! โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ†

Our Breakfast Club children have been getting into the football spirit today with the start of the Football World Cup ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŸ๏ธ They have created their own England flags and designed flags for our exciting Dots n Spots World Cup Flag Competition 2026๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐ŸŽจ

The challenge was to design a flag that represents Dots n Spots, with the winning entry becoming our official Dots n Spots World Cup Flag 2026! โœจ

The children at Dots n Spots Day Nursery & Out of School Club Ltd have been busy creating beautiful bumble bee pictures to celebrate World Bee Day! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค
Through painting, sticking and creative crafts, the children explored the importance of bees and how they help flowers, plants and our environment to grow. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒ

This activity supported learning through:
โœจ Creativity and imagination
โœจ Fine motor skills and hand control
โœจ Communication and language development
โœจ Learning about nature and the world around us

Today the children enjoyed creating their very own self-portraits! ๐Ÿ’›
Using mirrors, paints, pencils and lots of creativity, the children explored what makes them unique โ€” looking closely at their eye colour, hair, facial features and expressions. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Self-portrait activities support so many important areas of learning in the Early Years, including:

โœจ Building self-confidence and identity
โœจ Developing fine motor skills through drawing and painting
โœจ Encouraging communication and descriptive language
โœจ Promoting concentration and observation skills
โœจ Supporting emotional development and self-awareness
โœจ Exploring creativity and imagination
We loved hearing the children talk proudly about themselves and celebrate what makes each of them special. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’•

We have also started to hand out the school readiness booklets to support our families too
