Little Buds have done so well settling since weβve been back from half term. This week they have enjoyed lots of sensory play. We have been to the sensory room, enjoyed lots of sand play and using the sand equipment to fill and pour and today enjoyed water play using our new sensory balls. Well done Little Buds ππ

Warning over 'baby sleep pillows' posing risk of death Ireland's consumer watchdog has warned parents that pillows marketed as sleeping aids for babies can cause death through suffocation or overheating.
Colour tablets are a new one on me!! π€£ Iβve always used food colouring but what a great resource to add a bit of excitement to a good old water play activity! ππ lots of opportunities for language development tooβ¦.. colours, lore, open, splash, drop, throw, mix, stir π«π«π«

Obviously, you will need to adapt for different ages and risk assess as things like Pom poms and dry pasta can be choking hazards for young children π₯°

Happy World Bee day !!! , Little Buds been super busy celebrating Bees and all the amazing things they do for us , we have enjoyed making our very own Bees using play-dough and balloons ready to take home to show our families and in Forest school this week we have planted some lovely Bee friendly flowers we canβt wait to watch them grow and watch all the Bees come to visit them. π πΊ π

One of our Little Buds became a big cousin over the weekend so today we have been looking after all the babies in our room. We have fed the babies , given them lots of cuddles and made them all snug in the pram. Well done Little Buds ππ
