In Tuesday’s worship time, Mrs Conn focused on generosity of spirit and we explored the story ‘The Pig of Happiness’. This story is all about showing positivity and spreading it to your friends whenever you can. Well done to the children picked out from each class for being such positive role models 😃

We have had such a busy week in Year 4! 🤩 We have been brilliant designers, planning, creating and making our own light up cards 💡 We have shown lots of perseverance and resilience to make paper circuits using copper tape, a cell and an LED. A great effort from everyone! 👏🏼☺️

Reception have been enjoying their PE lessons. We have been learning how to hop and jump. We discussed what makes a good hop and how we put our arms out, bend our knee and push off from the ball of our foot.

Year 1 carried on with their DT journey today by learning about the meaning and purpose of a ‘mood board’. We created our own using pictures and drawings to reflect what we might like to see on our Christmas cards (we know, we’re a little early! 😂).

There’s a plenty of hard work going on in Y6 but there’s always time for a bit of fun! The children love a bit of friendly competition whether that’s during arithmetic relays 🏃🏃‍♂️or rock-paper-scissors championships during our brain breaks. 🪨📄✂️🏅Today, we’ve tried to have a more active day whilst still working hard so the children explored Bible stories around the classroom while making links to how Christians live their lives. ⛪️✝️
