We are looking to recruit a Learner Engagement Officer.

🔷Do you have a passion for helping people?

🔷Do you have administrative experience?
Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

What will the role involve?
To be responsible for all aspects of the administration process within an Adult Education setting.
The role will involve obtaining and processing learner data during group sign up sessions. You will deal with enquiries from the public and partner agencies and promote the training opportunities. You will assist with all internal and external administration to support the business.
Skills required:
Experience working in a busy office environment
Minimum Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualification
Ability to work to tight deadlines and timescales
Methodical and structured approach to tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organise and prioritise tasks using own initiative
Excellent computer skills, experience using Microsoft Office packages and databases
Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Confident promoting and selling courses and opportunities to learners and partners
Comfortable facilitating/supporting a group of learners to complete registration paperwork
Experience working on ESFA contracts and knowledge of Adult Education Budget criteria would be preferred
Advice and Guidance qualification preferred or be willing to work towards it
Driving licence and own transport essential as will need to travel between venues across the North West.

The first segment of the course will last up to 5 days & you will gain the following accredited qualifications⤵️
Week 1:
Duration - 5 days
🔷Level 2 Industrial Environmental Awareness
🔷Level 2 Warehousing & Storage

The second segment of the course will last up to 5 days depending on the type of licence desired (you can choose 1)⤵️

Duration - 1-2 days
Licence to work qualification, CSCS or cherry picker & scissor lift (IPAF) or NPORs Towers or Traffic Marshall - with many more to choose from!

Eligibility: Aged 19+ and in receipt of benefit or on a low wage.

Based at a Burnley venue which is easily accessible by public transport.
