Y8 Boys and Girls West Lancs athletics super 8’s at EdgeHill University 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Very proud of our students tonight who competed against the best athletes in the district. Personal records were broken and top finishes were recorded 👏🏼

Our Girls side finished a fantastic 4th place while the boys grabbed themselves a bronze medal as they took home 3rd place 👏🏼🥉

A fantastic effort from our Year 7 athletes at the District Athletics Competition at Edge Hill on Tuesday! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our girls’ and boys’ squads showed determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the day, earning a very respectable 5th place overall. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented the school, giving their all in every event and supporting one another from start to finish.

Our Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh groups have been navigating around the local area this weekend with their instructors. They’ve been busy applying their map skills.
We had smiles, snacks, a glimpse of nature and some sore feet, however they are raring to get going on their Bronze Expedition in a few weeks time.
