What an incredible year it has been at St James’ Catholic Primary School! ❤️

Our pupils have worked with determination, resilience and enthusiasm, and their achievements speak for themselves. From our youngest learners in Early Years to our Year 6 pupils completing their SATs, every child has embodied our school mission:

We are delighted that all of our statutory assessment results are above the national average, reflecting the hard work of our pupils, the dedication of our wonderful staff and the fantastic support we receive from our families.

A huge congratulations to every single child – we are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved this year. You have shown that with hard work, kindness and perseverance, amazing things are possible.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and carers for your continued encouragement, support and partnership throughout the year. It truly makes a difference.

We wish all of our families a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in September for another exciting year of learning together.

Congratulations to our Year 6 class who celebrated their time at St James’ with the ‘St James’ Oscars’ and Walk of Fame🏆🌟 We enjoyed opening our letters from our taster day in Year 6 and adding ‘love locks’ to our memory gate🔐 You have been an amazing Year 6 class who will always belong, believe and achieve❤️

What a wonderful way to end the school year! ☀️🍦🎶

It was lovely to see every child enjoying the sunshine, party music and a well-earned ice cream together.

A little thank you to all of our amazing children for being so brilliant throughout the year. We are so proud of everything you have achieved and hope you all have a fantastic summer! 🌈💙

🎓✨ This morning we had the pleasure of celebrating our wonderful Reception Graduation with our amazing children and their families.

We loved celebrating this special milestone with everyone and were so pleased to see so many parents, carers and family members attend. Your support made the morning even more special for the children.

It has been an incredible year watching our Reception children grow in confidence, develop new friendships and make fantastic progress in their learning. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and know they are more than ready for their exciting journey into Year 1.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate. We wish all of our Reception graduates a happy, fun-filled summer and can't wait to see all they achieve next year! 🌟💙

What a brilliant night we had at our Year 6 Leavers BBQ and water fight! 💦🍗🥳
Our evening was filled with laughter, smiles and unforgettable memories. From enjoying delicious burgers and toasting s'mores over the fire, to dancing along to the music and soaking the teachers (who were great sports! 💦🤣), it was the perfect way to mark the end of an incredible primary school journey.❤️
