What a fantastic day in London for our wonderful Pupil Parliament representatives! 🇬🇧
Our girls from St James’ were outstanding ambassadors for our school, representing us with confidence, enthusiasm and maturity throughout their visit to the Houses of Parliament.
They thoroughly enjoyed the experience, gaining a fascinating insight into how Parliament works and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We are incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves and the interest they showed throughout the day.
Well done, girls – you represented St James’ brilliantly! 👏✨

What a fantastic day our Reception children had on their school trip to Liverpool! 🌟
Our adventure began with an early start at the train station before travelling into the city. We enjoyed a lovely walk to PizzaExpress at the docks, taking in some of Liverpool's famous sights along the way. After a quick snack break, it was time to get creative as the children made their very own pizzas! 🍕 Once they had been cooked, we enjoyed eating our delicious handmade creations outside before having lots of fun playing games on the grass.
In the afternoon, we walked to the Museum of Liverpool where the children loved exploring the fascinating exhibits and discovering more about the city's history. After a wonderful day of learning, laughter and adventure, we made our way back to the station for our journey home.
We are incredibly proud of every single child. Their behaviour throughout the day was exemplary and they were wonderful ambassadors for our school. They listened carefully, showed excellent manners and represented our school beautifully.
We had such a wonderful day together and hope that the children hold on to these special memories for many years to come. Well done, Reception – you were amazing! 💙✨

Good evening,
We will be having our own clothes days - every Friday - in the lead up to our annual summer fair.
This coming Friday, can the children bring in a bottle for our infamous tombola store please. One per family is fine.
Enjoy the rest of this sunny evening
See you on the gate.

What a pleasure it was this morning to celebrate with the children who made their First Holy Communion last month. It was lovely for their friends and staff to see them in their beautiful outfits.
A huge thank you to Father Kenny for delivering a wonderful Mass for our school family and a big thank you to all parents and grandparents who were able to attend. We all enjoyed sharing this special occasion together.

What an amazing field trip Year 4 had at the West Lancs Allotments this afternoon.
We had a tour of the allotments and then sewed some seeds and planted some lettuce, marigolds and sunflowers.
The children have also brought their own plants home to look after. 🌻🌱

What an exciting day for our Nursery children on their very first school trip! 🎭🍪🎶
Today, our Nursery class travelled to Edge Hill Theatre to watch The Gingerbread Man.
The performance was made even more special by three members of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, who played live music throughout the story, bringing the adventure to life.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, joining in with enthusiasm and excitement from start to finish. We were incredibly proud of how well they behaved throughout the trip. Their excellent manners, listening skills and positive attitudes made them a real credit to our school family.
We hope you enjoy looking through the photographs from this wonderful day and hearing all about the children's adventures when they get home! ❤️
