Today we celebrated children with attendance over our school target of 96%! And what a lot of children we had! A special shout out to our 100% attenders who were awarded with very special badges to wear!

🐻 Year 3 had a Teddy Bear’s Picnic today! 🧺

It was such a lovely afternoon sitting in the shade on a beautiful sunny day, enjoying some delicious fruit with our teddies. 🍓🍎🫐☀️

The children had a wonderful time chatting, laughing and sharing their picnic with their cuddly friends. A perfect way to enjoy the sunshine together! 😊💕

Mrs Meehan’s Dance Club performed their dance show after school … they were amazing and everyone was soooo impressed. Thank you to all the adults who came to celebrate with them. A great way to finish the year 👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️

This morning we held our annual talent show.

The children who performed today had got through their class auditions, and the semi finals to secure their place in the final!

And wow, Hillside really has got talent!

From singing, dancing, comedy to geography knowledge, we had it all!

Well done to all of our wonderful performers, you were amazing!

Yesterday, our Young Explorers welcomed their grown-ups for our Celebration of Progress Stay and Play. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to proudly share just how much they have learned and achieved throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and all they have accomplished. A huge thank you to all the grown-ups who joined us 🤩.

Year 4 enjoyed their last transition session in Year 5 with Mrs Lane. They played team building games to help everyone get to know each other better.

⭐ Transition for Year 2 ⭐

The children got creative thinking about how they feel about starting year 3 in September. They made a fun paper craft with the help of Miss Stone and Mrs Green to take home to show their families.

🍕 🎉 Year 6 Pizza Party 🎉 🍕

This afternoon, Mrs Smith treated Year 6 to delicious pizza, hot dogs and fizzy drinks!

What better way to celebrate our amazing children and everything they have achieved during their time with us at Hillside, than a ‘Pizza Party’

We’ve got lots still planned for their final 3 days as Hillsiders, they may be leaving but…’once a Hillsider, always a Hillsider’
