🌅 🍓 Breakfast Club 🍌 🌅
This morning in Breakfast Club, the children enjoyed getting active with ‘Danny Go’ what a great way to start the day!
Who is coming along tomorrow to enjoy some of the lovely fresh fruit we have, provided by Tesco Burscough in the community !
Open from 8am, free of charge for children in Reception to Year 6!
What an aspirational day at Edge Hill University for Year 6!
They had a tour of the campus, learnt Chinese🇨🇳 and had a go at playing American Football 🏈
Lots of children left wanting to return one day to attend university there.

KS2 took part in a live lesson with Susie Dent from Countdown, talking about the importance of vocabulary especially in sports.

Year 6 have been looking at different ways maths is applied in the real world. In the lesson, they followed steps to make origami hearts ♥️ and windmills. It took perseverance as they were a bit tricky to complete.

This morning in Breakfast Club, as well as eating a lovely bowl of cereal, children played together with the variety of activities set out daily.
Children enjoyed a game of Monopoly, arts & crafts, building and construction as well as quiet, cosy reading.
Come along and give breakfast club a try! Open from 8am for all children in Reception to Year 6, no booking needed and free of charge!

Pupil voice was heard today at Forest School! Last week, our Year 6 children asked for a fire session, including toasting marshmallows and making s’mores! The weather was very kind and allowed everyone to do exactly what they asked for! Every child listened carefully and helped to keep each other safe by following all the Forest School rules. What a brilliant suggestion, Year 6! 🪵 🍃 🔥 😊

Come along and enjoy a bowl of cereal, some fresh fruit and a calm and relaxing start to the day, playing with friends!

Reception took Norman the Slug with the Silly Shell by Sue Hendra to Forest School today! 🐌🍃
The children searched for slimy, slithering slugs in the wet woods and found plenty! They gathered around the fire pit to talk about what slugs look and feel like, and how they move. What a fun day of outdoor learning! 🪵😊
