We have been looking back at all the wonderful resources the Denby Dale Community Library history group provided us for Project 150 for this year's Project 50.

Mrs Mighall also shared this with us, a video of a Denby Dale pie festival that includes her great grandmother dishing out pie!

The BFI looks after one of the biggest collections of film and television in the world. Our teams of experts ensure the collection is preserved and developed for future generations and made widely accessible for everyone.

🎉 HELP US CELEBRATE 50 YEARS! 🎉

This year, our wonderful school, Denby Dale First & Nursery School (formerly Gilthwaites First School) celebrates 50 years since opening its doors in 1976, and we’d love your help telling our story!

Were you a pupil, member of staff, governor or part of our school community at any point over the last five decades? We’re inviting you to record a short 10–20 second video memory to be included in a special anniversary film, whether you were the first pupil here or you left last year!
