πŸ“’ Important Travel Information for Parents and Carers

We have been advised by local bus operators that there is likely to be some disruption to bus services in the Skegness area on Thursday 3 September 2026 due to the Tour of Britain cycling race passing through the town.

The race is expected to be in the area between 2:00pm and 4:00pm, coinciding with the end of the school day. Road closures associated with the event may result in delays, however we are not sure what direct impact this will have on SKA so we wanted to make you aware in advance of the possible delays.

If your child normally travels to or from school by bus, please be aware that their journey home may take longer than usual.

The bus companies has advised that they will do everything possible to operate services as close to normal timetables as conditions allow and will provide updates as they become available.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. We will share any further information we receive.
