Borden Grammar School is a selective Boys Grammar School with Academy status situated in the centre

Borden Grammar School is a selective boys grammar school with academy status situated in the centre of Sittingbourne, Kent, England which educates students aged 11–18. Whilst the school mainly admits boys, a small number girls have been educated at the school within the Sixth Form. The school holds specialist status in both Sports and Modern Foreign Languages. The school has a Latin motto, nitere porro which translates as "to strive forward".

We are immensely proud to celebrate another year of outstanding results and individual success stories across Borden Grammar School! 🌟

🎓 A-Level Highlights: • Our best-ever Post-16 results in Borden’s history! • 31% of all grades awarded at A*/A, and 64% at A*-B. • 13 students earned at least 3 A grades across their subjects. • Students heading to top destinations including LSE, UCL, Imperial, Bath, Exeter, and Warwick, as well as prestigious degree apprenticeships!

📚 GCSE Highlights: • 36% of students achieved 5 or more top grades (7–9), with 96% securing 5+ strong passes. • 26% achieved 7 or more top grades (7–9). • 5 students achieved an amazing 8 Grade 9s—and one student achieved a staggering 11 Grade 9s! 🌟 • We can’t wait to welcome so many of you back into Year 12 this September!

Good luck to all our students receiving their results tomorrow, Thursday 20th August! Here is everything you need to know before coming in.

Collection will take place between 9:30am and 11:00am in V Block. Please note that all parents and students must use the pedestrian entrance, as there is strictly no parking available on site. Staff will also be available on site to discuss next steps, option blocks, and answer any questions about your future pathways.

Please be aware that results will not be given out over the telephone or via email and results will only be released directly to the student, or to a nominated person provided the required authorisation form has been completed in advance.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow and celebrating your achievements! 🌟

Sports Day is tomorrow! As we gear up for a fantastic day of competition, track events, and house spirit, please ensure all students arrive fully prepared to give it their best.

☀️ Student Essentials Checklist:
Sun Protection: Please apply sun cream before arriving and bring a bottle along for reapplication throughout the day.
Stay Hydrated: Bring a large, refillable water bottle (with your name clearly marked).
Headwear: A sun hat or cap is highly recommended for when students are cheering on their houses from the sidelines.
Kit: School PE kit must be worn and/or something to represent your house colour!
