Swale Wise Owls and Owlets Tutoring (SWOOT) is a private tutoring business that specialises in Key Stage 2 (KS2) /School Years 3-6/ children aged 7-11 years; and the important exams they take within these four primary school years, especially in the Kent area, namel

y the 11+ Kent Test and the Year 6 SATs. I, Lindsay Hearn, started SWOOT as a fully qualified and experienced teacher with a BA Hons degree, PGCE and QTS. My previous experience includes being a classroom teacher in state and private schools at both primary and secondary levels as well as working as a private tutor/governess for a high net worth family. For the last seven years I have focused exclusively on SWOOT: building up resources and developing techniques for SWOOT’s specialist areas. This has resulted in extremely high pass rates including multiple years of achieving 100% passes. SWOOT operates two different types of tutoring service:
Wise Owls: 1-1 online tutoring, using zoom, suitable for full 11+ Kent Test preparation, Year 6 SATs or any KS2 specific maths or English tuition needs. Wise Owlets: Small-group, in-person, closed; specific, 11+ Kent Test preparation classes. (Classes to be attended in person, Sittingbourne location).
