Do they need a bit of support to fill gaps or boost confidence? 🥺

We can help! We’re very excited to let you know that we will be running Y11 Maths groups during February half term! ⭐️

We will be holding focused lessons for students sitting either the Foundation or Higher papers, and each group will have a maximum of 3 students in it. 👩‍🏫

Lessons will take place Monday-Thursday, and students are welcome to attend as many sessions as they would like to during the week. If you're interested, do get in touch to secure your place! ☎️

This is so important! Failure is an essential part of learning; I work hard to impart this upon my students. It is completely wonderful to fail at something and then learn about what went wrong. We love mistakes!

An active mind is a healthy mind! We forget that for our brains to truly grasp and hold onto something, we need to access our long term memory structures. This takes time and repetition; we must revisit regularly!

It can be really troubling to read news articles such as this, and to hear of the difficulties and barriers our wonderful schools are facing in accessing high-quality, effective tutoring. Schools need easy to use, readily accessible funding that is quick and straight forward to engage, so that children get the help they require.

We know that even before COVID-19, nearly a third of children were failing their GCSE Maths & English first time, and the pandemic made this only more prominent. Our country faces a generation of very vulnerable learners, who need tightly-designed learning that caters to their individual needs.

I am saddened to read that these difficulties remain as the new academic year starts, but also feel renewed and energised to ensure we continue to provide an outstanding service to the schools we work with, with usability, ease-of-access, and clear, concise organisation at the forefront.
