🌟 First Birthdays 🥹

There is something so incredibly special about the very first birthday a little one has. Today we were so lucky to be able to share this little ones with him ❤️.

🌟 We have watched this little one grow for the past 7 months, seeing him learn to sit unaided, start to crawl and now taking his first wobbly steps. We've seen him learn to wave, babble away and give the sloppiest of kisses 🥹.

The endless cuddles, cutest smiles and giggles galore have always made our day!

🌟 So here is to you gorgeous little one... may your next year be filled with even more adventures and fun filled days ❤️.

💚 Our weekly messy play class went full Shrek mode on Friday 💚😂

🟢 What looks like a tiny swamp explosion was actually some amazing learning in action, think sensory exploration, fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence building all happening at once 👶🎨

💚 We love these sessions for giving the children the freedom to get stuck in, get messy, and learn through play (even if it means going home looking like they’ve just auditioned for Shrek... check out the green toes as well 🤪).

🌿🌻⚘️ Sweet Spring 🌿🌻⚘️

I know lots of other childcare providers and parents will agree with me on this...

We are currently at that sweet spot...

It only lasts a couple of weeks...

Where we've put away the gloves and wooly hats, and yet still don't quite need suncream!

Its my absolute favourite time of year for the little ones. Getting outside doesn't take 100 years and there seems to be far less tears and stress (and that's just from me 🤪).

🌞 This weekend I'll be out buying suncream, ready for the sun as I know it will creep up on us. Spring is here 😍.

The most wholesome day celebrating our amazing Katie's birthday 🥹🥰... animals, lunch out and park play! What more could a 21 year old want for her birthday 🤪.

🌟 These babies are so unbelievably lucky they get to spend their days with Katie. She goes above and beyond for each and every one of them, and loves them endlessly! 🌟

We love you Katie! ❤️

🎨🖌 Messy play 🖌🎨

After a few weeks away, we couldn't be happier to be back at Splat Messy Play Sittingbourne, Faversham & Canterbury 😍.

🌟 As always, Amy had set up some fantastic trays, this week focusing on Julia Donaldson books to tie in with World Book Day 🌟.

To make up for our missed weeks the children got the messiest they've ever got! Absolutely covered head to toe 🤣, baths will definitely be needed tonight!

📚 We're going on a bear hunt... We're going to catch a big one... What a beautiful day... We're not scared! 📚

A beautiful way to celebrate world book day today... combining the children's favourite current book with an outdoor adventure of course!

We squelched through mud, swished through grass and stumbled through the forest 🌳.

🌟 Plus we had our first picnic of the year 😍. A perfect day!

⚽️ Football Fun! ⚽️

Today we headed out to a fantastic preschool football class and what a great time we had! 💚

Dan was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, making sure every child felt included and had fun while learning new skills.

Football is such a brilliant activity for all areas of development..

✨ Physical... running, kicking, balancing, and coordination
🧠 Cognitive... listening, following instructions, and problem-solving
💬 Social & Emotional... teamwork, sharing, confidence, and turn-taking

Everyone had so much fun (and definitely burned off lots of energy 😅)! We will definitely be back 😍.

🍂✨ Woodland Magic ✨🍂

This morning we stepped into a little world of wonder… 🌳

The children explored between the trees, jumped through the leaves, and greeted the free-range chickens before offering treats to the resident pig 🐖💛.

🎨 We painted autumn treasures,
🧪 The mud kitchen became awash with potions,
💪🏻 Our strong muscles helped us climb, balance, and slide, testing bravery and strength.

It was a child-led adventure filled with giggles, muddy boots, and the soft sparkle of autumn magic. 🍁✨
