Wow! Record-breaking Statistics results! 📊🎉

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 students on an extraordinary set of Statistics results! Having taken the exam early in Year 10, their hard work has truly paid off with our best-ever outcomes in the subject.

Seeing so many of our students achieve top marks a full year early, including Grade 9s, is a fantastic accomplishment and a true credit to their dedication. It sets a brilliant foundation for their upcoming GCSE and BTEC results this summer.

The new school term is almost here, and we can't wait to see all our students again.

Here are the key return dates to remember:

• Wednesday, 2nd September:
o Year 7 & Year 11 students return to school.
o Year 12 enrolment also takes place.
• Thursday, 3rd September:
o All other year groups (Years 8, 9, 10, 13) return to school.

For over seven decades, our school and farm have been a proud part of Sittingbourne. To mark the opening of our incredible new farm and science facilities, we’re throwing our doors open to our former students!

Join us on Saturday 19th September (tours available at 1.00 pm or 2.00 pm) for an afternoon down memory lane.

📸 Browse the archives: Explore decades of photos and memorabilia, and maybe even spot a few familiar faces.
🏫 Revisit old haunts: Take a walk through your favourite spots on the school grounds, see how Westlands has evolved, and check out our new farm & science block.

We are delighted to invite you to our annual Open Evening on Thursday, 24 September 2026, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore everything Westlands has to offer and get a feel for our school community.

The tour will give you a glimpse into the diverse facilities and departments that are key to our students' success, including our:
* School Farm
* Sports Facilities and on-site Gym
* Construction Skills Centre
* Engineering and DT Facilities
* Art and Photography Rooms
* Music Rooms and Drama Facilities
* Media Suite and Dance Studio
* Academic departments such as English, Maths, Science, and Ebacc subjects

This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet our dedicated staff and students. They will be available throughout the evening to answer your questions and share what makes Westlands such a special place to learn and grow.

We are so proud to be celebrating another year of exceptional achievements with our Year 13 students today.

Maintaining the record-breaking standards set last year, the Class of 2026 have shown remarkable dedication, hard work, and resilience throughout their studies. We are delighted to share a 100% pass rate across all of our A Level and T Level courses - a true reflection of our students' commitment and determination.

Once again, 100% of our students were accepted into their first-choice university destination, with students heading off to prestigious Russell Group universities alongside high-value degree apprenticeships and employment.

Every single student should be immensely proud of what they have achieved.

Congratulations to you all, and we wish you the very best of luck with your next steps! 🎓✨
