Puddleducks - Wrest Park Puddleducks Day Nursery is set within the beautiful surroundings of Wrest Park in Silsoe, Bedfordshi

Puddleducks Wrest Park is one of three Puddleducks settings with one in Bedford and one in London. At the setting, we aim to provide a stimulating, happy and nurturing environment in which every child is treated as an individual and supported to develop to his or her full potential. Four guiding principles shape the practice in our setting:

• Every child is an unique child, who is constantly lear

ning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self assured;
• Children learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships;
• Children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners and/or carers;
• Children learn and develop in different ways and at different rates. Younger children are encouraged to explore, develop and enjoy their nursery environment incorporating established home routines for feeding, nappy changing and sleep through regular contact with their key worker. For our pre-school children the day is structured to provide a full and varied programme. Every experience is seen as having the opportunity for learning. All children will be working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
