Pleased to retain my PGA Accredited Professional status for another year ✅

Continued learning and development has always been a big part of my coaching, and I’m always looking for ways to improve what I do and provide a better service for the golfers I work with.

Another year of learning, developing and trying to become a better coach. ⛳️

First SAM PuttLab lesson in the studios ✅

Great to get the system fully up and running and start using the data properly with players.

SAM PuttLab gives us a really clear picture of aim, face control, stroke consistency and what actually needs improving — so we can build a simple, focused plan around it.

Putting lessons and PuttLab sessions are now available at Ilkley Golf Studios.

Abel has been in working on his swing… although getting him to do a practice swing before hitting the ball is still a work in progress! 😂⛳️

One of the things I love about the indoor studio is being able to coach players of all ages and abilities — from complete beginners right through to elite players.

Plenty of time for Abel yet… although he definitely prefers hitting the ball! 😂

I am genuinely loving having my own indoor space, but I’m also loving what it’s doing for my own practice.

The combination of the data, cameras and instant feedback just adds a beautiful simplicity to learning. You can hit a shot, see exactly what happened, understand why, make a change and go again straight away.

I’ve been across the line at the top for years… and anyone who knows me knows I’m absolutely hopeless at making changes to my own swing 😂

But a few hours of focused practice in the studio and here we are.

Still plenty to work on, but it’s amazing what can happen when the feedback is instant and the practice is properly structured.

Seven years ago, Huey was 12 years old, playing off 28 handicap, and telling me his dream was to go to America, play university golf and ultimately make it onto the Tour.

Fast forward to now and he’s a +3 golfer, playing for his university in America.

People often see the finished product, but they don’t see the years of work that go into getting there. The lessons, swing changes, practice, setbacks, improvements and countless hours spent trying to get better.

Looking back at this swing progression really puts into perspective just how far he’s come.

It’s been an amazing journey to be a small part of, and I’m proud to now be supporting Huey online through while he’s away in the States.

Can’t wait to get him back in the studios when he returns 💪

Seven years in the making — and still plenty more to come.

Great to have Max in the PuttLab yesterday for a session.

Averaging nearly 40 putts a round while playing off a teen handicap tells you just how good a ball striker he is — and also where there’s a huge opportunity to improve his scoring.

We spent the session understanding a little more about the process behind putting, breaking each putt down into three clear stages that allowed Max to commit and trust what he was doing.

Like so many golfers, doubt would creep in once he got over the ball…

Is this the right line?
Have I got the right feel for the pace?
Do I actually trust it?

By creating a much clearer process before stepping into the putt, we started to take those questions away.

The results spoke for themselves 👏

Really looking forward to seeing how this transfers onto the course next time he’s out there.

#🚨 Exciting Announcement 🚨

Today marks a huge moment for me, my coaching, and the next chapter of the business.

After keeping this under wraps for a while, I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve officially got the keys to what will become Ilkley Golf Studios.

A brand-new indoor golf facility in Ilkley, designed to give golfers a proper place to learn, practise, play and improve all year round.

The studio will feature:

⛳️ Two indoor swing bays
⛳️ A dedicated PuttLab room
⛳️ The latest coaching and practice technology
⛳️ Indoor golf, performance work, lessons and more

This is something I’ve wanted to create for a long time — a premium environment where golfers can work on their game properly, without being held back by the weather, daylight or lack of access to quality practice facilities.

There’s still a lot to do, but today is the start of something really exciting.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me, had lessons, joined coaching plans, recommended me, or been part of the journey so far. Without that support, this next step simply wouldn’t be possible.

I’ll be sharing more soon, including the build, technology, opening plans and Founders Membership details.

Exciting things to come.

3 Years. One Huge Change.

Mark has put in the work.

A flatter swing plane, improved club delivery, tighter dispersion and more speed through impact. The result? Better control, more consistency and a lot more distance.

The best part is that this wasn’t built in a few lessons. It’s the result of consistent work, clear goals and trusting the process over time.

Now he’s absolutely ripping it.

What area of your game would you improve if you committed to it for the next 12 months?
