Twinkleboost is an award-winning social enterprise empowering parents with the skills to boost their child's language development. The Twinkleboost programme has been developed from a multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists and Clinical Psychologists.

It's been a week of festive fun for our sessions at Skipton and at Silsden!

🎅🏻 We waved hello to Santa and set off on an adventure to find the missing Reindeers!

🎶 Then joined in Christmas songs with a little elf making lots of music with our tambourines.

⛄ We took a walk in a winter wonderland under the hanging canopy searching for the reindeers.

🎉 It was fun making party hats to go to Santa's Christmas party and have a party dance together!

🦌Santa needed a rest after all the dancing and what a surprise to find all the reindeers jumping on Santa's bed! Phew we found the reindeer though!

🫧 So we celebrated with bubbles & more Christmas music to finish.

🎶 Found lots of jingle bells instruments for a song
🎄 Went for a walk in & out the snowy trees
❄️ Bounced snowflakes on the parachute
🥣 Mixed up reindeer food in our sensory trays
🛏️ Jumped on all the beds with Goldilocks
🫧 Enjoyed a bubble party with Goldilocks & the Reindeers
🌟 And finished with our goodbye song!

We've been hopping around Mr McGregor's garden with Peter Rabbit in Skipton today 🐇!

🐰 We loved meeting Peter Rabbit and joining in with a sleeping bunnies song
🥕 Next we joined Peter in the garden to look for fruit and vegetables under our hanging canopy
👂 We heard the sound of jingle bells and met Rudolph the Reindeer - what a surprise!
🎶 We had lots of fun shaking bells for a festive song together
🎄Then Peter Rabbit found a Christmas tree! We felt the spiky branches, saw the lovely lights and danced around the tree
✨ In our sensory trays there were pinecones, tinsel pipecleaners and ribbons to explore
🫧 We helped Peter Rabbit get safely home and popped lots of bubbles to celebrate

🌟 Met Jack for an action game in the gardens
🫘 Sang a song with magic beanbags
🌿 Climbed up the beanstalk
🦌 Saw Rudolph the Reindeer practicing his flying
🔔 Joined in a festive song with noisy jingle bells
🎄 Searched for special treasure in the woods
🥣 Made the reindeers some tasty food
🦶 Stomped our feet with the giant
🌳 Helped Jack get safely back home
🫧 And celebrated with bubbles!

What a busy morning! Our outdoor sessions are now taking a little break over winter ☃️. A huge thank you to everyone who's joined us this year for adventures in the Discovery Garden at East Riddlesden Hall, we've had such a wonderful time 🌱💚

Last week our Silsden Twinkleboost families joined Peter Rabbit 🐇 for another fun adventure. We had a great time exploring Mr McGregor's garden under our hanging canopy and we even met a snowman ⛄! We all made some special glittery pinecone decorations🎄! Plus we had songs, games and bubbles too 🫧! Thanks for joining us ♥️

🐖 Waved hello to Three Little Pigs
🌳 Played under the trees and crunched in the frosty leaves
🌈 Had fun with the rainbow parachute
🪞 Made happy, sad, scared and angry faces in the mirrors for a special song
🏠 Made some houses with sticks & leaves for the little pigs
🥖 Then tried an edible house with bread sticks
🐺 We huffed and puffed with Mr Wolf
🫧 And finished by chasing bubbles round the garden!

🐖 Waved hello to the three little pigs
🌳 Played an action game
🌈 Joined in a happy song with the rainbow parachute
🐺 Met a howling wolf
🎶 Sang a special song as the pigs built their houses
🏠 Helped the pigs hide with bricks, straw and sticks in our sensory trays
💨 Felt the wolf huff and puff
🫧 And helped the wolf feel less angry with a bubble popping game!

Thank you for joining us for two lovely adventures at Skipton on Wednesday ♥️

We met a very hungry caterpillar 🐛 who loved to play wiggling and nibbling games with us! We also found Incy Wincy Spider for a song too. The caterpillar brought beautiful flowers for us to smell and we joined in shaking the parachute for a special ring-a-roses song together. Then we fed our own hungry caterpillar puppets lots of different food until he grew bigger and bigger and bigger! Finally he turned into a beautiful butterfly and we fluttered colourful scarves just like the butterfly wings 🦋. With just enough time for bubbles & our goodbye song to finish 😊

We've had lots of fun at Silsden today with Alice in Wonderland!

We crawled through the magical light up hoop to go to Wonderland with Alice and the White Rabbit 🐇!

Then met the Cheshire Cat for a song 🎶. We tried on hats with the Mad Hatter 🎩 before helping make a bonfire 🔥 in our sensory trays.

Our foil blankets made lots of rustling noises just like the bonfire crackling. We finished the bonfire party with sparkly lights just like fireworks in the sky 🎇.

Then sang Alice to sleep and she woke up back at home again!

On Friday Twinkleboost Explorers was at East Riddlesden Hall. We had lots of fabulous outdoor & nature inspired fun! We...

🐇 Met Alice & the White Rabbit
🌈 Followed them down the rabbit hole and saw lots of swirling colours on our way to Wonderland under the parachute
😸 Learnt some Makaton signs to join in a song with the Cheshire Cat
🎩 Tried on hats with the Mad Hatter
🔥 Helped the Mad Hatter build a bonfire with sticks and leaves that we collected
🌟 Waved and launched colourful scarves to make our own firework patterns
🫧 And of course, finished with lots of bubbles to chase around the play area!

Please note there is no session for Twinkleboost Explorers next week due to tree felling in the grounds, so an additional date has been added on the calendar. There are some spaces to join our last two outdoor sessions for this year on 21st and 28th of November. You can book a spot at:
