We’re excited to launch our Key Stage 3 Reading for Pleasure competition ahead of our school book fair at the end of November!

The challenge is simple: read, review and repeat! The student who reads and reviews the most books will be crowned our Page Turner champion and receive a prize at the end of the book fair. 🏆📖

The challenge is open to all students in Years 7, 8 and 9, and staff are joining in too!

We hope the challenge encourages our students to discover new books, explore our new library and, most importantly, enjoy reading for pleasure.

Today, our Year 7 and Year 8 students took part in the exciting Material World: Engineering the Future STEM session.

Through interactive demonstrations and real-world engineering challenges, students discovered how the materials around us shape the technologies we use every day and the innovations that will define our future.

From advanced materials used in aerospace and engineering to sustainable solutions for tomorrow's world, the session encouraged students to think creatively, solve problems and consider the wide range of careers available in STEM industries.

A fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators. Well done to all students for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the event!
