We have had a treasure hunt, plenty of thieving pirates and made our own boats to sail down the river!
We are here until Wednesday next week and we all think we’re in need of a spa! So see you guys next week for spa week!! 🧖‍♀️

Festival week!!
As you can imagine festival week has been incredibly varied! We have celebrated with music, facepaints, tattoos, tie dye and more! We have celebrated festivals around the world, food festivals and all things colourful!

Our Rosie 💐
Another little bit about me….
Rosie is our main man in the Explorers room, she can often be found sweeping up after the babies, stocking up nappies and trying to keep track of little legs! Rosie has been with pinecones for several years, taking time out to travel and gain experience abroad before coming back.
Favourite Hobby- Taking the dog for a walk (probably to the pub…)
Favourite Food- Crumpets with Lurpak.
Where to spot Rosie- Literally everywhere, we can’t keep tabs on her!!

Our Ocean week has been jam packed with appreciating the big and the small! We’ve had whales brought into the nursery, we’ve made jellyfish and studied what each shell’s purpose is! The has been no shortage of sand and water, the children have been fascinated by it all! Thank you once again to our parents and staff. 🐟🌊🐠

This week has been travel week!
The children have fully embraced every aspect of this travel theme. We have made passports, travelled all over the globe, learnt about different environments and what to expect when travelling! There was lots of waiting in airport lounges and we made sure they all went through the ‘metal detectors’ (a hanging rail and walkie talkie work quite well!)
Thank you to all our children and parents that brought in suitcases, life vests and other goodies that embraced this theme! ✈️🛫🗺️

We are incredibly proud of our garden this year! The children have planted nearly all of the vegetables and flowers, it has been a labour of love that has done really well in the heat wave thanks to little hands! 🚿🪴
