The Sidmouth Regatta Tug Of War is now taking place on the beach by the lifeguard hut/rock groynes due to ongoing work on the Ham (+ it’s low tide which works for us 🙌🏼)

We are returning to The Pea Green Boat Restaurant for a 5K out-&-back loop from the Esplanade, up through the byes & back for some coffee and post-run bites.

All paces welcome… slow runners, fast runners, pram-runners, well behaved dog-runners, supervised children-runners - all welcome! 🙌🏼

02/08/26 | Deadly Dozen

Deadly Gross 12 Hour Relay 💀

A first of its kind challenge that instantly got the attention of our Ascend Training Club members as soon as it was announced last year! 🔥

We just had to do it…

The challenge: complete 12x Deadly Dozen races back to back as a team of 4, with a 12 hour time cap.

We entered two teams and both got it done! ☑️

Team 1 - 10hrs 30min -17/67

Team 2 - 11hrs 28min - 29/67

Proud is an understatement!

Everyone had to pull their weight and stay consistent with their output in order to finish within the time limit. There were certainly highs and lows, but pulling through is what it’s all about!

Gross by name, gross by nature… that was horrible.
