🌾🍂 What a special afternoon celebrating our Harvest Service at St George’s Church. ⛪️💛

It was so lovely to see our school community come together, with lots of beautiful singing and a wonderful atmosphere throughout the service.

A very special mention to our amazing school choir, who gave some truly incredible performances — we couldn’t be prouder of them! 🎶✨

A huge thank you to Mrs Sequeira, our wonderful music teacher, for all her hard work and dedication in preparing the children. And thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the afternoon possible and ensured we all got there and back safely. 💕

We’re so proud of our children and grateful to everyone who helped make this such a special and memorable Harvest celebration. 🌻🍎

What a brilliant time we have had at residential! 🏕️

This week our Year 6 pupils took part in gorge walking, scrambling, orienteering and canoeing.

They have shown fantastic determination throughout the week, pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones and taking on new challenges.

The activities have helped develop their independence, resilience, teamwork and confidence, with lots of encouragement and support for one another along the way.

We’re incredibly proud of how they embraced every experience and made memories that will last a lifetime! 💙

🚒🔥 Year 3 had an exciting visit from the fire service!

The children learned all about fire safety, met the firefighters, and even got to see the fire engine up close.

A fantastic and educational experience for everyone! 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

A great day at school with a visit from our local police team! 👮‍♀️🚔

We had some really interesting conversations about hate crime, our community and how we can all help to make sure everyone feels safe, welcome and respected. ❤️

The children also got to try on police uniforms, sit in the police car and have a look around — which was definitely a highlight! 😄🚔

Lots of questions, lots of smiles and plenty of excitement! A big thank you to the police for coming in and spending time with us. 💙

Our first week of Enrichment at St George’s!🌟

We believe learning goes beyond the classroom, giving children the chance to develop new skills, discover interests and get creative.

This week’s activities included Yoga 🧘‍♀️, Young Enterprise 💼, Table Tennis 🏓 and Photography 📸

Our photographers enjoyed a scavenger hunt and the results speak for themselves! Just look at their creativity! ✨📸

⏳📚 Travelling through time! Our Year 3 historians have been learning all about timelines and putting key events in history into chronological order. 🏛️🕰️

We’ve been developing our understanding of the past, spotting important dates and discovering how events connect across time. What a journey! 🌟

🌿 Day 1 — Our Sensory Garden is taking shape! 🌿
The first stage is complete, and we now have a usable space ready to begin the next phase of our project. 🌱💚

This is very much a work in progress, but we’re excited about what this space will become — a welcoming sensory garden where our school can explore, relax and experience different colours, textures, scents and sounds.

There’s still plenty to do, so keep following us for updates as the garden continues to grow and develop! 🌸

Do you have any skills, ideas or expertise that could help us with the next stage? We’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch! 🙌

💙 Our newly revamped Blue Sensory Room 💙

Over the summer, our talented Miss Galley worked her magic to transform our Blue Sensory Room into a calm, welcoming and safe space for students who may need a little time to reset and recharge throughout the school day. ✨

Designed to provide a peaceful environment where students can feel comfortable, regulate and take a moment for themselves, the room is now ready to support our pupils whenever they need it.

A huge thank you to Miss Galley for all her hard work and creativity over the summer — what a wonderful transformation! 💙🌿
