A little time out!

Building resilience and trust in this pony as one young person builds his own resilience and trust in attending school. First time Mr Giles has walked down the track to open fields.

Painting Zones of Regulation colour wheels and making stone mandala patterns all contribute to understanding how to emotionally regulate... and breathe....

More super achievements this week-, independent casting out and then catching fish and exercising Mr Giles on her own too. Somebody needs a pat on the back.

I was lucky to have my dinner cooked for me tonight by one increasingly independent young lady here on respite- in the kitchen unsupervised. Only help needed with peeling potatoes and a reminder to turn off the cooker afterwards. Very proud of her.

Animal time - a calming influence that is super beneficial to emotional well being. End result on this occasion- actually sitting ba****ck on Dolly which then made her feel so proud.
