Music Bugs Shrewsbury, Telford and Stafford Sensory, play-based music and singing classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Founders of Welcome to Music Bugs Shrewsbury.

My name is Tamsin and I will shortly be launching fun, lively and entertaining music and singing classes for preschool children and their grown ups. Music Bugs is all about having fun and exploring music together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We provide gently structured, play-based sessions where children can develop, grow and have fun in a multi-sensory environment. Our 40-minute classes are full of excitement with a huge variety of props including puppets, parachutes, pom poms, bubble machines, floaty scarves, teddies, hobby horses and lots of tactile percussion instruments. We sing nursery rhymes, counting songs, finger-play rhymes, knee bouncers and action songs. Children have a natural enthusiasm for music and singing and this plays a vital role in the development of early language and communication skills as well as social and physical development. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your little ones very soon. Music Bugs are the founders and organisers of World Nursery Rhyme Week, a global initiative to promote and support the importance of nursery rhymes in early years development. One of the lovely things about Music Bugs is watching little friendships begin to grow.

Sometimes it starts with two children sitting side by side. A smile. A shared instrument. Reaching for the same bubbles. Copying the actions together. And sometimes… it starts with meeting another dinosaur! 😂

Our classes give little ones the chance to play alongside others, explore together, practise taking turns and become comfortable in a group, all while having lots of fun with their grown-up.

Those little interactions are the beginnings of some very important social skills, even if they don't know it yet! Today’s fellow Music Bug could even become tomorrow’s very best friend. ❤️🎶

We have had three fantastic classes today! Our Shifnal Bugs were brilliant at the action songs, our URC Babies were showing off new skills all over the place and our URC Family Bugs were the loudest dinosaurs I've seen all week!

Tomorrow Abi is at Greenfields and I'm in Donnington. If you'd like to book for Donnington you can book the last 3 remaining sessions of the block for £15! Greenfields classes have only two sessions remaining this block but we have one-off tasters and PAYG spots available!
