Celebrations continued at Shrewsbury Academy yesterday as our Year 11 students collected their GCSE results.

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as students celebrated achieving the grades they wanted, securing places in sixth form, and gaining admission to the colleges of their choice.

We are incredibly proud of all our Year 11 students and everything they have achieved. Their commitment, determination, and resilience have been inspiring, and we know they have bright futures ahead of them.

Good luck to every one of you as you begin the next chapter of your journey. We are honoured to have played a part in your story and look forward to hearing about your future successes.

A huge thank you to Trust alumnus and University of Birmingham PhD student Ben Fry for coming back to inspire our students with an incredible hands-on neuroscience workshop.

Finishing the Year with Pride
During the last part of the term, we held our End of Year Recognition Day, celebrating the hard work, achievements, and successes of our students throughout the year.

The room was filled with positivity as students cheered, applauded, and supported one another while receiving recognition for their accomplishments. It was wonderful to see such encouragement and respect shown by everyone, making the event even more special.

A huge congratulations to all of our award recipients, and thank you to every student for helping to create such a positive and uplifting atmosphere. It was the perfect way to bring another successful academic year to a close. 👏🏆✨
