Squirrels Class got out in the community, visiting the Connections Group at United Reform Church. From sharing stories and conversations, it was a heartwarming reminder that the best connections have no age limit! ❤️

Try this brand new picture book for Autumn? 🍁

Author Donna David visited us with her new release ‘No Way I’ll Stay’, a funny picture book about a stubborn bird who doesn’t want to migrate!

With a message of embracing change and stepping outside your comfort zone and a lovely spread of migration facts at the end.

Our youngest children asked questions about Donna’s job and why she enjoys writing and being an author.

Year 3 have had a great time combining Woodland Work, History & Art.

Using natural materials like charcoal and chalk pastels and making natural paints from spices to create impressions of animals, tribes and hunter gatherers.

They were inspired by The Cave of Hands and used their own hands as stencils on the wall.

2026 is the National Year of Reading and we're busy thinking up more inventive ways to showcase different genres of books and inspire a love of reading 📚
