Kate Satoor Childcare I am an experienced childminder rated outstanding by Ofsted offering quality childcare in a beautifu My name is Kate Satoor.

I am 51 and live in a cottage in a quiet part of Ford, with my husband, three children (20, 18 and 15) and our dog. We work with two staff to provide outstanding care for babies and children aged 0-11 +. There is a large drive for easy parking and a great garden to play in and explore. The children play in a big conservatory set up with toys, play equipment, books etc. which opens out onto a large secure outdoor area for water and sand play, messy play, ride ons, play house, large play equipment etc. We also have a warm and cosy playroom in the garden for extra space and varied play experiences. I work on little topics to extend your child's experiences. We are looking at Growth at the moment. When I went back to work after having my first child, I wanted a caring, loving environment for my child where a home from home experience was offered, not a classroom environment - as a teacher myself I feel there is time enough for that later. It was a big decision and I wanted to get it right. I remember this now and offer your child exactly what I wanted to find. We play at home, go to the park, visit the shops, library, go on pic nics, walks etc and enjoy meeting others at toddler groups. We encourage the children to develop their independence by choosing their own activities and following their own interests. We are happy to support your feeding and sleep routines. We keep you up to date with your child’s day through an online system, sharing your child’s sleeps, feeding, toileting, activities and progress As it is a small setting we are always there for you if you have any worries or questions. We provide locally sourced, healthy, home cooked food and snacks or you can provide your own food if you prefer. The children love to help us cook the food too. The before and after school children enjoy playing with my own children and enjoy being with the little ones too. There is something for everyone, a treehouse and trampoline, climbing trees and hide and seek, TV, craft activities, cooking, board games etc. I can provide breakfast or tea if needed. I currently pick up from Bicton Primary, Crew Green "Bryn Hafren" school and Trinity Primary in Ford. We also offer holiday care for those children currently attending the setting before and after school. I have been rated as offering "outstanding" childcare in my last three Ofsted inspections.

Today we welcomed Caroline from The Beekeeper Collection, Pontesbury to come in and talk to our three year olds about bees. Caroline told us how the bees make honey, the different types of bees and their jobs and how they look after their bees. The children were really interested and got to try the set honey and the runny honey. I learnt lots of new things too! The children who took part got to take home a pot of honey too. We have introduced our Poetry Basket to our children, with a different poem every week to explore. The aims are to glory in the wonder of literature and to introduce, practice and hence learn new vocabulary. This weeks poem has been about Blackberries after our blackberry walk. The children tasted the sweet, juicy blackberries, felt the prickles on the bushes and saw the purple juice on their fingers. Our current basket isn’t really the right shape so if you had one like in the picture you could donate, or we could buy off you, we would be delighted. ❤️⭐️❤️

****MISSING DOG****

Anyone local to or travelling through/to SY8 3 area please keep your eyes pealed for Loki a leggy Cocker Spaniel who has gone missing from his own garden 14/08/26 at 4.30pm without a trace or sighting so far.

Loki isn't wearing a collar but is microchipped.
