As we look back on the end of the summer term, we're remembering the fantastic time our Grangers had on their visit to Cadbury World!

The children had an excellent day exploring the fascinating world of chocolate, learning about the history of Cadbury and enjoying all the exciting interactive experiences. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a successful term together, with plenty of smiles, laughter and memorable moments along the way.

Important Breakfast Club Update 🍎

We are delighted to remind families that from September, our Breakfast Club will be moving to the Harlescott Grange Community Centre.

Even better, Breakfast Club will be completely FREE for all children! 🎉

We look forward to welcoming our Grangers to the new location in September and supporting even more families with this fantastic free provision.

Exciting News! Owlets Playgroup is launching this September at Grange Primary School! 🦉

We are delighted to be opening our brand new baby and toddler group, Owlets Playgroup, and we'd love to welcome families from across our community.

Owlets Playgroup is a friendly, relaxed space where little ones can play, explore and make new friends, while parents and carers can enjoy a chat over a tea or coffee.

Whether you're looking to meet other local families, support your child's development through play, or simply enjoy a morning out, Owlets Playgroup is the perfect place to be.

We can't wait to welcome our first little Owlets in September! 🦉💙

Have you applied for free school meals?🍕

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 families, your children automatically receive free school meals through our universal offer. Even though meals are covered, applying through Shropshire Council unlocks access to Free Holiday Clubs and discounts on school residential trips—definitely worth your time!🍽

For Nursery and Years 3-6, free school meal eligibility requires a yearly application. Shropshire Council recently reviewed all families currently receiving free meals, and if your eligibility has changed, you'll find details in an email headed your way. ✉Here's the great news—there are brand new income bandings now in place, which means more families may qualify than before! If you haven't been eligible in the past, this could be your chance to reapply and see what's available to you.

We are delighted to announce that Grange Primary School has been awarded the School Games Gold Mark Award in recognition of our commitment to PE, school sport and physical activity.

This achievement reflects the enthusiasm of our pupils, the dedication of our staff, and the fantastic support from our families. We are incredibly proud of the opportunities we provide for children to be active, develop new skills and enjoy participating in sport.
