Wild!’ is a multidisciplinary exhibition celebrating the extraordinary beauty, diversity, and spirit of Africa’s wildlife.
Bringing together a collection of original works across a range of artistic mediums, the collection explores the profound relationship between animals, landscape, and the natural world.
From detailed studies to bolder contemporary interpretations, ‘Wild!’ invites viewers to reflect on the power, fragility, and enduring significance of the continent’s iconic species, offering a compelling dialogue between art, conservation, and the untamed wilderness.

Alongside ‘Wild!’, the exhibition also showcases a selection of commissioned equine and canine portraiture.

Last day of the wonderful Jilly Hartshorn as resident at Swan Hill Studios. Open 10-3pm what an absolute pleasure it has been having Jilly holding the fort.

So incredibly excited for our Autumn curated programme at Swan Hill Studios which kicks off with the return of CLAE with a new collection in a new direction. Please save the date for the private view 24th September 2026.

We are hugely excited to welcome our next resident at Swan Hill Studios for our summer program. Abstract Artist, Jilly Hartshorn, normally working from her studio in Oswestry, will be taking the opportunity to work on something larger than usual, drawing on work from her sketchbooks.

For Jilly, painting and drawing are in constant dialogue on the work surface, each informing the next process of mark making. Loosely based on landscape, the literal and visual path have become the same.
Jilly will be in residence and open to visitors from 10am - 4pm Monday 17th - Saturday 22nd. Free entry to the gallery.
